PM your addy and there will be some on the way. I may have your addy still but who the hell knows where.
ding....you\'ve got mail.
You could go to LMA and dl a show or just wait to be blasted by the best band on the west coast right now. They seriously grab me and toss me around everytime I hear them just abt as much as The Bfast. ALMOST
Didn\'t you say the same about ALO?
I tried a TLG show last fall but didn\'t dig it like B-Fast. I\'ll probably give them another chance though.

No I\'m fairly certain I placed them as the second best band out here . TLG and ALO are 2 entirely different sounds. ALO dance grooves galore. TLG straight ahead rock and roll.
Oh and if you don\'t know BY NOW you will never dig a band like you dig Bfast it\'s just something I have recently come to accept.
TLG played a co bill with PB at Cervante\'s in Denver on 4/20/04.. they even played a large family style jam for a few songs, it\'s up on the archive. oh yah moe.down 6 is gonna be the
****....
I saw TLG open for the Dirty Dozens in OR. cool guys to hang with. maybe it was the room but the energy of a PB show wasn\'t there, but they do sell tickets pretty well out on the west.

I have seen shows by TLG that have come close to the energy of a Bfast set CLOSE. The thing abt The Bfast is they ALWAYS have high energy doozie or not. It is pretty incredible when you actually think about it. I have never seen or heard of them "going through the motions".
Anyway TLG does sell well enuff out here to get a side stage opening act for DMB @ The Gorge. If they were blowing up b4, after this all heck will break loose. I pray The Bfast set @ moe.down has a similar effect on the NE region.
one of the intangibles of the moe.down is the love that moe.rons have develped for the town of turin, ny. often time the festival is referred to as "are you going to turin?".
the town seems to welcome the scene and tolerates the freaks nicely. this now being the 6th time we will be visiting and unless they outgrow it, it\'s reasonable to assume that they will be back there next year. my point? i think that shakedown street would be a great cover for the festival. i\'m sure they won\'t do many (if any) covers but i would love to see this one busted out at the right time. maybe even invite al. for a sit in. it could be a real highlight to the whole festival IMO. i can picture the whole crowd singing along "don\'t tell me this town ain\'t got no heart". there are many other covers equally as worthy for consideration but i\'m putting in my plea for shakedown street. well, well, well, you can never tell!
Duane, how long have you been a Moe fan? I already know Gregg\'s Moe history from asking him on our old car rides from MA to CT Breakfast shows.
We are probably lucky to have you two on board for this festival to help plan out some of the details and provide meaningful suggestions.
I can\'t wait to hear the stories (and the recording) of this show. Definitely going to be a highlight of the year for both the band and fans.
al, i\'ve been seeing moe. regularly since 99. my first exposure that made any impact was at the furthur festival and when i saw them on their own, i was hooked. at first i was going to shows by myself because all my deadhead friends were content to stay at home and pout. eventually, one by one, they started coming around. i met scott due to being a moe.ron and he quickly turned me on to pb. so you could say that moe. is indirectly responsible for me being a serhead. i love going to moe. shows and this month i will cross the 50 mark. this will be my 4th moe.down and it\'s the best weekend of the summer. i\'ve made many friends around the country and it\'s become an awesome social event with a great house band. it\'s been a dream of mine to get the breakfast here, so needless to say i am really looking forward to it. i saw seth yac, nero and p/groove (to a lesser extent IMO) just blow away the scene at this festival and i know for a fact that our boys are so much better than any of these bands. i\'m very excited at the prospect of the breakfast being the buzz of the festival. i\'m also excited my family of breakfast friends to share the great vibe that i have felt every year in turin. moe. throws a great party and i\'m happy lots of my friends will be coming along. if anyone has any questions about the weekend, post them or pm me and i will be happy to tell you what i know. what i DO know is, that i cain\'t wait!!!
how far is turin from CT
on average how many people show up at this event
sets and times for The Breakfast??
how far is turin from CT
on average how many people show up at this event
turin is about 4 hrs from new haven straight through albany past utica.
last year there was about 7500 people. i don\'t think it will be any bigger this year due to a relatively weak lineup. the same 5000 moe.rons show up and the rest depends on the other bands.
sets and times for The Breakfast??
the schedule isn\'t out yet but i think it will be three 45 minute sets on saturday night.
