Breakfast show: Sunday the 5th of July at the Stony Creek Puppet House.
We have a house rented out in the Thimble islands. BBQ and party there in the day, go inland for the show that night.
A good way to send the boys off before the midwest dates..

It\'s a long weekened. But it\'s still a bad idea.
on top of that,im pretty sure the puppethouse isnt even having rock concerts anymore considering all the folks who ran the place preferred to smoke crack out of bongs..
well, not sure that even has anything to do with it but..
toad\'s on the 4th with the ind0b0x... would love to return to good ol\' stoney creek

i would too,i just havent heard dick about that place in a long time(and i live in branford)..
You are right, Sunday isn\'t ideal but.. It is a good location and if people are coming up for the Toads show, it\'s the day after.
Guess I should have done my homework.
Let\'s see what I find out.
PS Somewhat horrified of puppets and kind of mortified by the stories I heard about said crack smoking and similar but I still think it would be sweet as hell to rage that house of Puppetry.

Time to start investigations.
How about people put in some effort to get people to the shows already scheduled instead of feeling obligated to get a poor business decision band out of debt?
Stop putting effort into festivals and shows and put people in to the shows already?
Or is promoting too much effort for everyone?
It appears to be.
Space, I agree completely with what your saying and this one is completely for my selfish desires (obviously).
You can only accomplish trying to get people to shows by word of mouth. Without having the flyers in hand it makes things a bit more difficult. I was up in NYC this past weekend and it would have been a great opportunity to pass off some Crash Mansion flyers (which I don\'t think exist, to the best of my knowledge). Whatever the fate of the band, I think we all care about them enough to get our
**** together and do our best to do some serious promo. There a Phish dates for crying out loud.
I think we need to make some sweet ass flyers, maybe on a different kind of card paper with delicious graphics. On them we will have the Boston Boat, Crash Mansion and Toads show listed. And while the paper, etc. might cost a tiny bit more the final product will be much more attractive and have much more of an impact on people, I think.
If you have ever seen one of the Indobox flyers, they are sweet as hell and very appealing. It makes a difference.
I have talked to a couple friends who have had some ideas that are in the works for other means to raising money as well. We can see how that pans out.
Either way, though this thread may seem to contradict this, I think it\'s really important to do everything we can to get people to the shows that are already booked.

puppet house is in the shitter. i know some wacked out crazy kid who works for branford tv that like lives there. BAD IDEA. Some bad heads are around that establishment.
I also heard from someone else that way that the owner is seriously
**** out as Freddie did mention. No one goes there anymore. Its become a den of misfit junkies.

Spacey, i agree with you. I can think of at least 100 places i\'d like them to play, including my back yard...but we need to concentrate on promotion.
