There might not be a theme per say, but they will be covering an entire album for a set each night of the three night run. To me, thats cooler than a theme anyways.

well that\'s a theme to me...announce the entire album cover for the three night run if it\'s really gonna happen, that would get me out to the shows if I was borderline (which i\'m not). If it\'s gonna be lawn boy in burlington, make up some crafty announcement that the cd they are gonna cover is from a well known local band or something like that. People aren\'t gonna show up if they don\'t know about it.

You are right, people need to know and I don\'t know if the band is going to announce anything formally.
If anybody who is personal friends with the band can/thinks they should annouce this, please try to talk them into it. People are not going to show up who aren\'t already planning on going if they don\'t know what maddness is going to go down that night. They don\'t have to say which cd will be covered, just hint as to what band it will be or something.
who knows, maybe no cd will be covered, but the "buzz" will get people to go.
but those are just my thoughts and trying to help...who knows, maybe that is a bad idea, i\'m not a marketing kinda person.
I don\'t think that announcing they are playing Lawn Boy in Vermont is going to persuade a lot of people. We have a lot of grassroots going out for the Higher Ground. I can already hear the critics about this.
I will talk to Tim and see what the bands idea is.
let it be a surprise for a few people at least. . I woulda been so stoked if I had no idea and they busted it out. I really doubt it is going to increase the draw if announced anyway and might even turn some folks off.
People should know that something special is going to happen in Vermont but I don\'t think they need to know exactly what. Rumors are better, they entice people and make them think of all the possibilities.
besides, they\'re covering a nirvana album.

a friend of mine has a friend who works at the big easy in portland maine. a few people up there want to get the guys to play up there (and the boston crew will hopefully make it up there), and there\'s a few places for afterparties, and portland is just all in all a great city...
he says they can get a bunch of people to show up.... so anyway, if anyone knows how to make this happen let me know...
