Chris,
Since you are around now, what has been the most profitable, if anything, that comes off the merch table? You are the only one who is always at the Merch Table, is there anything that you can think of, that might be a good item to put up for sale? outside of the T-Shirts and stickers.
It\'s hard to say, because of the lack of variety I have on the table CD\'s T\'s and the occasional poster are about all I ever have what sells other than that nothing because I never have anything other than that. I think hats might work key chains maybe, but what I want ot do is to simply have a selection of like 3 t\'s and 4 or 5 varities of stickers and we\'d be in business, but that\'s easier said than done
i think the thing with the posters is, all the b\'fast posters so far have been show-specific posters. with those, you\'re really only targeting the audience of one show, and if you don\'t sell them all that night, you\'re not gonna find may people who want to buy a poster for a show they weren\'t at.
i think \'generic\' posters would sell better, and longer - either with an \'aruny\' design, or a killer \'old man todd\' photo/collage... my $.02.

I agree and teh last few times we\'ve done posters they have been freakout and new years
lighters, key chains and other trinkets won\'t do squat, they just end up lost at parties with some random person wondering why the hell their newly aquired lighter says "The Breakfast" on it. The way to go is song themed shirts, bumper sticker galore, FROLF discs would be ser also and this is a crazy shot in the dark, Nalgene bottles and Breakfast cereal.......
since it doesnt look like the band will be coming out with new merch any time soon would anyone be interested in more merch created by breakfast fans? The guys who are printing the ser tees can make a lot of other things. Maybe .info should have a merch section to make money for the site, which will help promote the band.
I\'m totally game... Is it too late to buy the ser. shirt?
play nice.

Shut the **** up Vallo, that\'s not appreciated!
These guys work their balls off dont\' get on them because they choose to run their business, their own way!
I did\'nt say they don\'t work "their balls off", they are the most dedicated musicians around. They just don\'t have a good business sense and that\'s frustrating to a lot of people. perhaps you\'re implying that it\'s none of our business to comment or make suggestions.
play nice.
twas deserved but been deleted thanks to my better half
Musicians are not good business men... just like most business men are not good musicians... different sides of the brain at work there... most people who are "artsy" don\'t have their brains wired for business... this is why successful artists (musicians, actors, etc) have agents or managers to take care of that.
The boys need someone to handle these things for them...

waiting on Aruny\'s sticker design as we have this discussion. I am getting 1000 stickers.
waiting for aruny=waiting for spacebrush
Chris I know you don\'t think lighters would sell well, but I think the little, cheaper things like that would. 1-5 dollar items like stickers, lighters, shotglasses, coasters, whatever.... I know I don;t typically have an extra 20 bucks to spend at the end of a show, but I imagine they\'d clean up on those cheaper novelty items. Just make a sign telling people to stiff their bartenders and spend the extra money on merch.

I agree about the management/agent issue. Wait, is it possible this discussion has been had before?
I would happily spend a but of money on one of those small items, get a smallish bulk number as an experiment to see how they\'d do, and then go from there. Maybe we could get a few people on this site to do the same... then we\'d have a bit of variety on the table, and we could see what sells and wjhat doesn\'t.
lighters were tried once before....ended up giving them away/ people stole them
