left column

• Hey I can make the left column disappear but never get it back without going back to the home page... Any idea why?

  not sure.. when you click on \'hide left column\', it should go away, then you should see this at the top of the forums index page:
  
  
  
  when you click that, you should see the left column again. does that work?
  
  the hide/show switch is only available on the forums index page (http://www.pbfans.com/forum/).

• yeah, I click show leftcolumn and it has the little box that says left column display is now on and then nothing happens.

  It won\'t give the left column in the forum index at all. And from the index page I can\'t get back to the home page w/o retyping the address. Also, just so you know... It says "Left column display IN now on"

  good catch! just fixed it.. that was easy..
  
  as for your left column, that may be a while.. i\'m looking into it now, but it\'s tough since i haven\'t been able to make it happen over here.. has it always been like that for you?

• No it used to work fine.  I even tried leaving the site completely and logging in again and once I hit the index page I can\'t get it back.

  are you using internet explorer? if so, do me a favor:
  
  - click on Tools > Internet Options
  - click on \'Delete Cookies\'
  - click on \'Delete Files\'
  - click on \'Clear History\'

• I just gave it a try and when I clicked Hide Leftcolumn it gave the message saying the left column display was off, but when it went back to the page the column was still there, and the Hide Leftcolumn clicky thingy was also still there.
