meh, more crap the average person doesn\'t need

Don\'t think most will need it.  Didn\'t the video say it was geared towards institutional buyers?

Either way, it\'s on the Christmas list at the Peck house this year.

It did have apps geared toward the average joe... well, the average joe techie.  placing recognized handheld devices on the surface would instantly sync (camera\'s would download pictures and display them), you could share contacts/ calendars between two blackberry type devices.  All sorts of cool features.

meh, more crap the average person doesn\'t need but thinks they do to find happyness in life. god bless commercialism. I\'m fine with a desktop monitor.

Plus you would probably get horrible neck cramps from constantly looking down at your table. And what would it say when you put your feet up on it? :P

I saw that on the news this morning........
I guess if I had mad disposable income, I would love to blow mad rails off that thing....

Perhaps but if the computer can tell what is on its surface it may be making a call to the local Police Dept. and an unexpected knock at the door might come.

I could use something like this now I have my computer connected to my 42" LCDtv and I hate having the keyboard on the coffee table. with a mouse. although to have a custom coffee table made would probably be a hell of a lot cheaper than getting one of these things

isn\'t this the same interface that was introduced a few months ago at the technology convention? That thing is cool.
