the cops will take everything they see, even if you use your guns for hunting or whatever... on a bust that big they don\'t care. but no handguns where found. honestly if i were to want to protect myself from the cops i would use a handgun not a shotgun or a rifle. and just because someone smokes, it doesn\'t make them stupid. MANY successful people have smoked and still do. if you don\'t like to it\'s your choice but don\'t bust on people who do, they don\'t bust on you for not. Kindm\'s it looks like your taking over Leiths title for getting into these types of conversations

Again, playing the age card. Typical defense from a childish burnout, unable to cope with the fact that 588 lbs of what destroys the few remaining brain cells he has, has been safely taken off the street.  And it doesn\'t take a genius (maybe someone who isn\'t chronic dependant) to realize that those guns were there for a "worst case scenario".

Some needs to start watching The Wire... jus\' sayin\'.

Lets see I am  childish burnout now because you are to silly to know how the police operate in situations like this

Lets see. Cops go in to the house and take anythng they can try to charge people with regardless of it was to be used in a crime. They didn\'t arrest the homeowner. They don\'t say where the guns were. But you immediately assume that the people involved in the transaction had the weapons, hmm notice how that info is conveniently left out of the article. You can bet your ass that if any of theses weapons were used during the arrest they would have made a point of it.

Lets see this childish burnout makes lots of money, provides the message board that you continually bash me on and has been working in the field of IT since before you got out of High School.. Just because you have no concept of the world outside your moms basement is not my issue. When you come here and say ridiculous things and make blatant assumptions and quote me while doing it be prepared to back it up.

Also weren\'t you banned ?

Like I said before, those weapons WERE THERE to protect the weight/cash.   Dealers are usually smart enough to give in to the police without a fight.  As for your meanlingless superficial resume, you have no clue.  I could  give two **** if you made $2.5 mil a year tossing Wavy Gravy\'s salad.  Do you think attacking my lviing situation is a blow? Give me a break.  And I never personally attacked you until you decided to continue to label me a "child", even after I politely asked you not to.  Irony, like whoa.

The assumptions you make in your posts to try and support your life views are laughable. You quoted me in this thread and to try to support your assumptions that the people in this article were gun toting drug dealers when the facts presented do not support your assertion. I call you on it again because you decided to quote me and took issue with my post.

You then go on to insult me and call me a brain dead burnout which is laughable. I was simply stating you couldn\'t be more wrong.

there really doing a heck of a job keeping us safe from these "criminals"

legalize Now!!!!!!

Yeah, because handguns and shotguns don\'t hurt people. Right?

notice how it does not say the guns were used for any illegal activities. just that they were seized. If they were in the home and not in the camper then who knows. The article does not say where they were. Many people own guns.

If they were in the house they were going to take them either way. They want to suggest that theses folks were potential hard core criminals. When they could have just been folks who like to puff and also buy guns.

It doesn\'t say the guns were illegally purchased. It just says they seized them Big Difference Junior

Pot, cash guns seized in Woodbridge bust
Pot, cash guns seized in Woodbridge bust - by Kent Pierce
(Bridgeport-WTNH/AP) _ Police seized drugs, cars and weapons overnight in one of the largest busts in recent state history, state police said.

588 pounds of marijuana, along with rifles, handguns, and more than $100,000 in cash was recovered by police.

Acting on a tip, police staked out a home in Woodbridge and made their arrests after a large motor coach drove up to the house.  Compartments that would normally car luggage instead carried drugs, police said.

The pot has a street value of about $1.8 million, police said.

Two people driving the coach, which came up from North Carolina, and the owner of the home were arrested.

Police identified the people in custody as 54-year-old Edward Jevarjian, 54-year-old Dennis Earl Thompson of North Carolina, and 43-year-old Misty Lynn White of Austin, Texas. They say Jevarjian lived in the Woodbridge home.

The homeowner tells News Channel 8 he didn\'t know anything about the drugs in the vehicle.

Woodbridge, Milford and New Haven police assisted in the investigation.

sorry for those of you this may effect.
