Whatever to both of you. Take your HLH and Rufus and go Brimley it.

As far as danger taker goes... I fell while climbing on a rooftop recently... and two nights ago I fell again, while inebriated, and completely reopened my knee wounds, while adding a few new ones. I am currently oozing buckets of fluorescent orange puss. Awesome.

i guess your not really cut out for team Rufus.;)

Team Hard Luck is the ser underdog.
Everyone knows Rufus and Buquebus.  Everyone knows that they are about to get their faces melted/owned whenever one hears one of those tunes start.  The band knows this too.  The band also feels that Hard Luck is more of a hometown fav. and thus dont really like to play it in front of new or newer audiences.

I hearby instate the first official announcement of the first official notice of the assembly and forward progress of Team Hard Luck.
To become a member one must:
- be a danger taker
- inebriated (for at least 80% of an entire breakfast show)
- a crazy gazer (looking for road head optional)

Automatic membership (if desired) will go to anyone who attended the 3/12/05 Century Lounge show in Providence.....

I was not at that show, but you know I\'m down to be a member of this team. I fulfill all three of your requirements, and though I am not actively looking for road head, I probably would not turn it down.

If you want to look at it as "turning your back on Buquebus" then I guess thats the way you see it.....

I see it as progress. evolution. inevitability.

Screw Rufus or Buquebus - Bring back AHOY as a stand-alone song without May Fly!
And the sole member of Team Mayfly takes two step backwards...

ok, but that\'s like a 2 minute part of a song. it really doesn\'t even come close to the ser jams that are Rufus and Buquebus.  btw when is the tournament of tunes? summer?

AHOY was actually a song on it\'s own for a short time before it was included at the end of May Fly!  Also, I agree that it\'s doesn\'t fit the same jam category as Rufus or Buquebus, but does it have to be a jam to be a good song?  There are many good PB/TB tunes that don\'t need to be jammed to rock and don\'t get as much credit: LDZ, Son of Simpleton, Uncle Freddy, Funky Bill\'s Circus Cliche, No Glove No Love or Question Mark.  Don\'t get me wrong, I don\'t dislike the jam, but sometimes feel that it\'s forced, especially with the Trio (all the songs don\'t always have to include a couple minutes of guitar loop, so Tim can add keyboards.  There are some songs where it works and others where it feels forced).

My two cents.

Rufus is quite ser, and has had some major jams of late.  By far the best Rufus I have heard was from the last Red Square show.  There was a point in the jam where Adrian just slowed the whole thing down.  I truly thought for a moment that someone had slipped me some acid.  Turns out it was just the serest Rufus to date.....

I am still a card carrying member of Team Buquebus.

However there is a chance I may be turning that in if I can ever get a Team Hard Luck formed.

How about it?
Throw away your old alliances and come to Team Hard Luck.....

Not even close.  But being so gay for TLG I can understand you having a skewed perspective on what constitutes "good" music.  Thanks for playing.

Figures the guy that gets his panties all in a wad when someone disses Bisco can not post a response that actually stays in Breakfast land and had to play the TLG card. Sad Really.

You really need to go back to school and work on your reading comprehension. I like you so I\'ll leave it at that.

Oh and for all of you that don\'t get how SER Rufus is over Buquebus too bad.

Rufus is sooooooooo much better than Buquebus now.
The way they drop into those trance jams is so much more sweeter in Rufus now than Buquebus.
Buquebus has rested on it\'s laurels and often falls into a borefest of trance while Rufus has undergone a transformation of glorious proportions and goes farther into the reaches of Serness more often.
