Definitely a sorry chip, but I dont blame the husky mascot, it\'s all Billy Chagnon\'s fault since I met him in Eddy Hall in the Alumni Quad. Bastard taught me how to DRINK, PUFF WEED, AND EAT PSYCHEDELICS......Definitely worth it in my opinion however. If not for Billy Chagnon, I would be far less the person I am today......nor would I have achieved the Triple Crown of Vomiting.....but that\'s a story for another day....

Although he is an exceptional guitarist, just like every other guitarist that was listed on this thread, he does not play funky music whatsoever. There is clearly no James Brown/Funkadeliks influence in his playing and he can\'t hold a candle either Hillel or Frusciante in the genre. I would agree that this may be a stupid question to most but it would be even more idiotic if he was listed as an option.

I do totally agree with you regarding Stone Gossard however. I wish Brad would put another album out.... I like Brad better than RHCP and PJ combined and multiplied by a billion....

Although it\'s a fact that John is a better all round guitar player and dwarfs Hillel when it comes to technical playing, I think Hillel was funkier. Not to discredit John since he is and always will be my one of my favorite guitarists. Who do you think is faking the funk?
