After further research and a second watch

1) I was correct in guessing Punjabi.

2) It is one man. So it would be "he is," not "they are."

1. Many Islamic men wear turbans in their native countries.  (they tend to abandon them in the west, it has no religious purpose as it does for the Sikhs) Especially Iran, and I deal with Bahrain that has a large population of Iranian refugees.

2. They probably are Indian, be it Sikh or Punjabi.

3. I was embracing a crude sterotype. It\'s half the fun of that clip IMO.
