That is very strange Al.  I checked and what do you know, every single show is off mediafire. The only thing I can think of is some **** reported each link to mediafire as a violation of terms, which is utter bullshit.  I\'m **** pissed..... Hopefully I\'m wrong and this is a mediafire error and will be corrected soon.

Upon further investigation it seems mediafire may have deleted their entire server inventory. Other people are reporting the loss of their links. Oh well, I apologize for the loss of all of that music. Back to sendspace for me...

"Invalid Quickkey. This error has been forwarded to MediaFire\'s development team."

"The quickkey you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire."

Got these messages for all the links I clicked on.

i had no problem expanding it. do you have itunes? just drag the folder in there and it should take care of everything for ya. "should" being the operative word... good luck!

Don\'t know how to do it. On my computer, when I double click the folder, it automatically expands the whole thing using a program called "Stuffit Expander" or something like that.

Oh well, I can do without the show I suppose. :)

Ok, it might just be one song, so I would suggest Expanding one song at a time.

Tried deleting and redownloading the Fripp show.. Still won\'t expand.

All of the others I downloaded worked ok.

Just a heads up, not bitching or anything.

Hmmm I dont know about the Fripp show. Thanks for telling me. If it doesn\'t work I\'ll upload another one of my five million Fripp shows.  By the way if anyone has requests I\'ll see what I can do about fulfilling them.

Oh and you\'re absolutely right about "Something\'s Coming".  It was recorded for their first album. I believe this BBC Top Gear session was one of Yes\' first public performances.  FYI the lineup on Yes\' first two albums included not Steve Howe, but Peter Banks on guitar and Tony Kaye on organ, not Rick Wakeman.

Gracias.

Hey Joe I ran into trouble expanding that Fripp show... Is it my computer\'s issue or is there perhaps a corrupt file?

In that Yes show, the first track (first recognizable around 1:14), is a song from West Side Story, called "Something\'s Coming" I believe.

Nerd alert!

Porcupine is quite good... I have all of their albums and a few shows and I like a good amount of their work.

I have the Herbie/Jaco, Prince/Miles, and Herbie shows that Joe put up and I would recomment them all... though I don;t think that Herbie show is one of the best I have heard...

Could be that I\'m just kind of sick of him though.

Oh... and for some reason I just cannot get over hating Ozric Tentacles. heh

Actually no I don\'t have a tracklisting. It\'s all stuff from their first album, including The Beatles "Every Little Thing". I upped it because there isn\'t a lot of "old" Yes circulating.  I think I might have the tracklisting for the others though. Phishhook has been down the past 2 weeks so I haven\'t had access to them.

Walsh I think you would really dig Porcupine Tree. They\'re very electronic (at least their older stuff) and psychedelic in the tradition of the neo-psych scene that came out of England in the 80\'s.  More or less I think they really inspired Bisco, even though Bisco never mentions them as an influence.

rar is a russian archive file type.

Most zip programs should recognize them

Derick download the WINrar beta version here  http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
It\'s a simple extractor like WinZip... The files themselves are mixed in m4A and mp3 format.

I\'m all over that Porcupine Tree, thanks :D

Really I didn\'t discover this band until a couple months ago... they take excellence to a new level

They really do bring excellence to a whole new level.  I got heavy into them when they released "In Absentia". I heard so many good things about it, but nothing could\'ve prepared me for the  impact it had on my psyche. I like to think of Porcupine Tree as the thinking man\'s Radiohead.
