As far as Tech House goes I\'m really into Booka Shade, Kevin Yost and a few other artists I can\'t name off the top of my head.

Don\'t get me wrong I LOVE Laswell.  I cannot get enough of this style of music and any of its myriad forms.  It just gets in my head more than anything else.

Laswell\'s Soundstage performance was stellar.  A great mix of musical styles.

I know, I know, but I\'m a sucker for Laswell. He actually incorporates a few Tubby samples in several of his tracks. I love how Laswell can apply dub to various genres of world music. For instance dub chamber 4 is Ethiopian music, while his Sacred System albums are Indian.

Here is a sick mix from Dubstep Ambassador...Joe NIce from Baltimore.  This mix is a little techier and more upbeat(as far as Dubstep goes).  Blaze hard and listen to this...I LOVE THIS ****!

Joe Nice Earwaks Mix (http://www.joenice.net/files/mixes/earwaks/mix.zip)

Joe, good calls on those Dub albums...but "best ever" and no mention of King Tubby???  Come on!

If you like epic Wilco then check out Jim O\'Rourke\'s swansong, "Insignifigance", which is clearly the best album of the 21st century.

As far as dub goes here are the best dub albums in existence.

I am definitely feeling some of the newer dancepunk and tech-house, but Psytrance  or PsyDub will always be the king for me.  I go through phases with DnB.  Dubstep  is like a good mix between trance and dub...I LOVE huge bass sound.

I don\'t think you can really dance to it, but it is good for the past-times I mentioned.  It is just a real good blend of psychedelia, Dub and chest rattling BASS!

For something you can dance to, the new MSTRKRFT album, \'The Looks\' is on a daily cycle for me...I cannot get enough of that.

i figured.... all i could picture is a bunch of kids standing around shaking like there having a seizure standing up. but for chilling on the couch...... i could handle for a little while. i\'m more of a fan trancie stuff rather than jungle or break beat or house

Well, it has been quite a while since I tried to talk about any sort of electronic music on this forum.  There has been past talk of dub on this forum so i was curious if any of you have ever ventured into the genre of "Dubstep".  It is a sub-genre of Dub and Bass, but slowed down even more.  It is amazing stuff from all over the world but the UK has a LOCK on the feel for it.  This is a mix made recently by DJ Forensics, it is only about 45 minutes, but it is one of the smoothest mixes I have heard in a long time.  So get your bongs out, turn up the BASS and blaze away while getting your face melted by my favorite style of electronic music at this moment.  Here is the SS link:

Forensics Dubstep March \'07 Mix (http://www.sendspace.com/file/67ae07)

Here is the tracklist, it is all one big track:

2 This One – Strictly Yard Music
3 This One - Signs
4 R Demon/Macabre Unit – Scout’s Honour
5 R Demon/Macabre Unit – Gangsta

10 Two Oh One – Cannot Dream
11 Misk – Outta20s

17 Threnody – Killer
18 Threnody – Trend
19 B-lam – Traitor
