So pissed that I couldn\'t get Police tickets.

Glad you had fun Leith.....Oh and I know you dont want to travel for trio shows, but you should make a point to get to Block Island.........
I don\'t hit anything but local shows during the Summer as my gig for the past 3 years has been as the SDC/OC Fair Main Stage LD.
I am already planning to use whoever is my L2 to cover me so I can go see The Police on the 23rd of June in L.A.

Never seen RAQ before but I\'ve listened to a few shows streamed on Archive.org ... I liked their Bruce Hornsby cover
anyway gonna go see them @ Pearl St Ballroom in Northampton (where the Breakfast neeeeds to be playing!! not Iron Horse!) some time in April when they swing up here

HOLY ****!!!!!!!!!! This was the best RAQ show I have seen.
On fire from the get go and they opened w/ BFAM!!!!!!! :lol: Yeah it\'s Brother From Another Mother but it is always cool to be reminded of the B\'Fam and I was wearing a Bfast shirt and had my Bfast hat on @ the start.
Ran into Stoops before the show,wished him a Happy Bday and shot the **** for a little bit and Chris remembered me from the last show as I led the front row then as I did tonight.
I love Winston\'s!!!!!!!!!
I don\'t know all their song names but I know Beauregard, Stuck in a Hole, Tumbling,Nationwide(zztop), All Day and All of the Night(kinks) Echinida\'s>Slime(zappa) were played.
It was packed and they said they are coming back again in a couple of months after just being here in Oct.
RAQ to me has finally started to achieve the potential they have.
For sure they are the only band I like that can even come close to sustaining the energy through a whole show like The Breakfast. That is both of them play really high energy ROCK and don\'t really have a developed show dynamic other than full tilt.
They do get better and better but I do see them running into the same problem The Breakfast do in that not everyone can dance that hard or keep up w/ the energy pouring off the stage for that long.
Ripping show and I recommend catching them as soon as you can.

So you did not go to see them because their studio album sucked?
I actually missed their show before I bought the album, as it was on a Wednesday night. I\'d still consider it, given all the praise I\'ve heard on .info. I usually don\'t do midweek shows anymore unless it\'s something special though. We\'ll see.

Raq is already back out west? They were out here right after Breakfast last October.
Time for Bfast to get back out here.

Yup back already. Full tour and they will be up in SF on Thurs.
So you did not go to see them because their studio album sucked? If so you should reconsider and hit the 12 Galaxies show.
It should be a good show tonight as it\'s Stoops\' Birthday!
