The message I entered was too short. Peep me lengthening my message to at least 5 characters.

no, i was planning on heading to the show tonight, especially since it was an early start than usual. unfortunately, i just started to my van and as soon as i put it in reverse to back out, it stalled. i guess i will try later tonight. maybe get to burlington in time for the second set at least, but i dont know if i want to risk it. looks like i will miss another breakfast show.
-
he doesn\'t have to.
can someone post live setlist updates tonite?
-
not sure on the weather situation in b-town, but its a **** mess on the roads here in pburgh. hopefully this doesnt stop people from heading to the show tonight. after the past few shows, there is no way I am going to miss this one.
Translation: I\'m going to re-post later asking for live setlist updates when I decide to stay in for the night.

So Dog is supposed to open for them tonight. Their bio has got to be one of the weirdest ones I\'ve read:
You walk by at the pound, you see me gaze up at you with longing, loving eyes. Will you be the one to rescue me? You walk to the end of the row of cages but it\'s too late, i have seduced you with my puppy mojo. It seems you will be taking me home. I am joining you as your most loyal friend and faithful companion.
I hop in your car and images of our life together flash in your head. The vision is accompanied by a familiar but unique, new sound. Radiohead, The Beatles, The Slip, The Flaming Lips, The Dead. You hear them all as you lower the window and I lift my head into the cool rushing wind. It\'s going to be an interesting life for us now...as we hit the road to lighten up America with thoughtful, spiritual rock and roll music. Improvisation and canine love...it\'s what makes life worth living.

imagine a world where you could clone bands? you know, make 500 breakfasts and station them all to seperate cities. That way they would always be playing right downtown and you could literally see them 365 days a year if you wanted to. Have the new haven band open for the new york band down in the city, while the hartford band was playing late night across the street, you could see them for like 5 hours straight in one night, not to mention the sit ins... 2 tims on guitar, one on keys, 2 adrians on drums, one on guitar, one ron as lead singer and double bass. Random thought as I noticed that Jordan is playing local while the band is out of town. That would be super headie brah.
This concludes our intermission. Please return your 3-d Glasses on the way out.

just go to Brahlington!
-
I thought Jordan was at the nine on Friday for happy hour. :idunno:
i have no idea. but that makes more sense. he usually plays fridays there.
and jordan gigs should be on the side projects calendar.
I made a mistake, I shouldve read more carefully up top! because Higher Ground is on Thurs not on Friday and thats when I thought I heard Jordans playing cafe nine.
-

My calendar has it marked as Sat. the 14th, not Friday. got the info from Nikki, but :idunno:
-
not sure when jordan\'s set starts or even what day it is on. i was just making a subtle joke about how I always ask what time the Breakfast takes the stage. Guess no one caught on. Calendar lists Burlington show starts at 10.
-
<< will be @ Cafe 9, not Brahlington
-
I\'m 99.94% sure he told us Friday.
and jordan gigs should be on the side projects calendar.

yeah, especially since the show starts at 10 p.m.
-
Still on the fence about heading up to this one. It\'s about 4.5 hours...unless you drive like me. I usually make it there in 3:45.
-
its like 4 hours away from my house.
id like to check out some of jordans set before before leaving, but im not sure if it would be worth it if meant having to rush straight there with no stops to get there by the time breakfast went on stage.
-
I wanted to see Jordan play happy hour at cafe nine, how long does it take to get there?I cant wait for another Breakfast show!!I havent been to Vermont in years.
-
fitz, if i made it to the s\'taint , you better make it to this show
-
i should probably skip this one because i have a pretty crazy day at work coming up on fri, but i really want to go. who is in?
-
Just noticed this show is only a week away. Are there any promo flyers on .info? I am too lazy too check. If not, I will just print find a blank breakfast poster, copy it and plaster them anyone campus and downtown area.

FUCKIN A.......it feels like everytime i log on, there is a new date or dates being announced.....as a long time breakfast fan, i do not remember gigs being booked, posted, and talked about this consistant and with time to plan......
Don\'t they have a new booking agent or something? Whatever the reason, someones doing something right. I just wish I could make it to half of these new shows. It\'s gonna be tough but I\'ll see what I can finagle per usual.
