note: follow fedex/ups/mack trucks at a good distance, it\'s 98% impossible to wipe the roof.

Ugh. Sorry that happened to them.
I used to never wipe the top of my old truck off because I\'m so short and it was so tall that it was almost impossible for me to get the top.
But then something similar to what happened to your mom and grandmother happened to someone I know. I have since changed my ways.
thanks:) i\'m glad they were alright, that was the most important thing for me.

Yesterday evening, my mother and grandmother were in a car driving down I-95 near branford, and an suv cut in front of them. the suv stopped short and a large block of ice fell from the roof and crashed into my mom\'s windshield. it shattered the windshield and went through the car. and somehow, they weren\'t hurt. no one stopped to help them. the suv didnt stop. it kept going. I mean, i dont know, maybe they didnt feel the iceberg depart from their roof, or maybe they did.
point being: when it snows, please wipe your cars off before traveling down highway roads.
