Well it was a good effort......however it proved to be worthless.....whats the lesson here? "Trying is the first step toward failure".........
and now my car is ****......
Just a **** nightmare on all fronts as far as I am concerned...
However, I did have quite a few laughs with Spacey, Ellis, TKA, Robyn, PapaG, Deansoyle, CJ, and Trish in the midst of the misery.....

my mom canceled dinner for new haven...she is paranoid of anything on the ground....leaves, rain..so ice freaks her out. so i just stayed home in hamden. Kudos for everyone who went out tho. it wasnt that bad.

this here is a lesson in "don\'t forget to check .info everyday". i wasn\'t coming to hartford because i was hanging with my valentine...but....we went to dinner in new haven right around the corner from richters (yes mike.....pacifico!!) after cocktails, and a SER SER dinner and the cappucino with the chocolate liquer shots.....i could have talked her into that easy. if only i had known!

well i wasn\'t expecting a big crowd, but i was hoping Tim would still play two sets. I saw like 5 songs or so. still a good time, and driving there was no prob really (it helps that i live like 8 minutes away)

Worst road I ever drove in my life was in Lake Tahoe, from the north to south, along the west edge. There\'s a part that has huge cliffs on both sides and the road is narrow as ****. There was over 6 inches of snow on the road. They were closing it off right as we were driving through. We were the second to last car through. Started to slide a little going around one of the hairpin turns (at 5mph or less). Not much scares me, but that got me a little more than worked up!
Tahoe snow can be intense. On last year\'s Breakfast tour, there was 10 feet of snow in some places along the side of the road - and it was nearly April.

And Todd, if your mailman delivered on time, god bless him. I got stuck three times trying to make it up hills today, not even big hills either. Then again Durham, Higganum and Haddam a little hillier than NB, and there was a good 3-5 inches of unplowed snow on the roads (including the main ones). I feel bad for the 35 residences who didn\'t get their FedEx package from my truck today, oh well, they wanna live in the middle of nowhere with no plows, they\'ll have to wait.

If all you guys have is a couple of inches (we have about a foot here) that doesn\'t sound too terrible. If you drive safely then you should be fine, but like Leith said, there is no accounting for the OTHER idiots on the road.
There is NO need to get wasted tonight if the roads are bad and you are driving. THAT would just be DUMB.

Snow = death, as most have only lived through the horror footage shown on tv.
I completely agree w/ you on this but I do know how to drive in inclement weather and also know when to not put myself in unnecessary danger on the road.
Esp. for a solo Timmy show, If The Breakfast were playing I could kind of understand the mentality of "**** the snow let\'s get our rage on!"

i\'m sorry but you\'re a giant pussball. i\'ve driven 2 hours in a horrendous snow storm to see timmy tour on my birthday in 05. its all a matter of what you\'re comfortable w/, this ain\'t **** right now from my vantage point. i don\'t think a san diego man would wanna brave it, but its small potatoes for anyone that has had to deal w/ it regularly before.

One little snow storm and people get all scared like we are getting a blizzard. If this was upstate/central NY, then yes, I\'d be a little worried.
The farther you get north the worse it is suppose to be. Hartford is suppose to get more snow than the New Haven area today at least the alst I heard.
of course, I am sitting in an office building and I have no idea what it is like outside, yet.

The snow has completely stopped falling, and the roads here in N Branford are coated with a small layer of snow (maybe ice). So instead of sitting at home, cleaning sand from my vag, I\'d much prefer to see some live music. Plus, TKA\'s got a 4Runner w/ new tires, so I\'m not too scared :) We can pick you up along the way, sally-pants ;)

I\'ve basically been living in New England all my life except for that little stint upstate. This is New England and we are suppose to be use to living with this kind of weather. Yes, it can be dangerous but really an inch or 3 of snow with ice, whats that? its nothing. now, if New Haven has a parking ban for this evening, that can be another problem.

I am not really scared of some snow, slush, ice, etc....I have been driving in it since for half my life. As long as you are careful and respect the weather its all good.....regardless.....

Dude I could care less if you had the serest vehicle that could tear up snow and you were the best driver in CT. You could be careful and respect the weather all you want but Mother Nature can be a real **** and who knows what idiot may be out there that is not as good a driver as you. You have no control over other idiots driving in nice weather and that can only be a bad thing in horrible weather.
