i agree. we should all definitely pretend this album never came out and keep it hidden from any newbs.

Wouldn\'t that be bootlegging yourself? I don\'t know what the contract material was for that (or any) album, but I\'m sure this would be frowned upon by someone somewhere.

If the band produced the album themselves (if my memory serves me correctly, there was no label associated with the self-titled) and had no other parties reckon with, why would it be a conflict if they burned their own album and made it for sale?
By never having it for sale, they only shoot themselves in the foot with lost sales, as people yearning for it have only the option of resorting to the .info black market for bootlegs.

Since so many people do not have this album (and are always inquiring about it), and even if the band isn\'t interested in re-printing the self-titled, they could at least burn copies, label them, and make em available for sale on the merch table. I don\'t even think there is a record label to reckon with, so why not do it?

Yeah, that\'s why I suggested not re-printing the disk, but still making it available. Interest in this disk is unwavering, as many people were not around when they stopped selling it many years ago but still want to check it out. Part of it\'s appeal is that it is so much different than the other material.

These threads seem to pop up every few months, and I\'m sure a couple dozen self-titled albums have been burned and distributed through the .info membership network.
I\'m sure there is a large scrapheap in Breakfastville for practical, money-making ideas like these.

Listening to self-titled the other day, I realized how much I miss the gentle, jazzy instrumentals on there, specifically Heather, Episode 1 (happy), and Uncle Freddy. They really capture my brain and take me back to late 99/early 2000, when I first discovered the band. I\'ll bet Tim could whip up a few more tunes like those with ease.
Please, someone hook me up!!!

All my cd\'s were stolen about a year ago, and I\'ve been fiending to listen to the first album "Psychedelic Breakfast". I can\'t find it anywhere, I would definately buy it again to support the band but it isn\'t commerically available anymore. I checked CDBaby.com, Amazon, Disclogic doesn\'t exist anymore, You name it, I checked. If some one could email me the tunes, maybe a zip file I would aprrecitate it till no end.
