yeah, woot is a great site, and there\'s a lot of woot copycats out there now.. they have a great business model.. hit or miss though, and when it\'s \'hit\', the stuff goes quick. the woot-off\'s are cool too, until they get to a crap item and it takes forever to sell out and get to the next one...

have you guys ever done http://www.woot.com?

every night at 12 (central time)  they put up a random item and sell it for retardedly cheap.... they had a 60GB mp3 player from sony up 2 nights ago for $20.... last night was a LCD TV for $1400 (regular $1700 - $2000)

they sell the item untill it\'s gone, or for 24 hours, depending on which comes first.... the items NEVER make it the full 24 hours, if you\'re up it\'s totally worth checking out.... if they sell out of an item super fast sometimes they\'ll throw up another item for an hour or so, they call that a "woot-off"

weird, but a cool site non-the-less

Are you getting all of these things?

i\'ve gone for a good amount of them.. i have a small problem with not being able to turn down a good deal.. the \'free after rebate\' stuff is a given.. not gonna turn down free. :)

I could take this to  a whole other level but will just leave it at that

:sabre:

Knew it was coming...I was just wondering who it was going to come from! ;)

I\'m very happy with my A4Tech 4 button, 2 wheel mouse...but it\'s not wireless. If I could find a wireless version, (although I really haven\'t looked very hard) I\'d pick it up in a heartbeat. Best thing is it\'s ambidextrous.

That mouse looks AWESOME...but then I\'d have to get used to using it with my right hand again. Switched over to my left a couple years ago when my right wrist was killing me from using it too much in Autocad. Did the whole ambidextrous thing for a while but have been using the left for way too long.

heh.. yeah, i don\'t think you wanna try using that mouse with your left hand. :)

mine actually came yesterday. it IS badass, however, the logitech software that came with it (SetPoint) is far from badass, and i actually thought i wouldn\'t be keeping the mouse after about 10-15 minutes of using it.. the software lets you customize the buttons, but it\'s very limited. for instance, i like to have my thumb button(s) set up as \'double-click\', and i couldn\'t do that with the software out of the box.. :wah:

luckily i found a program called uberoptions (http://www.mstarmetro.com/~rlowens/uberOptions/index.html), which overrides the options in SetPoint so you can do *anything* you want with the mouse.. just a tip in case you do decide to pick it up..

they bumped the google checkout discount from $10 off $30 to $20 off $50.. that\'s 40% off a $50 order for all you non-math majors. ;) time to do some xmas shopping..

not sure how long it\'ll last, but you can place as many orders as you want with the deal. works best on items that have free shipping.
