Is it a bad thing on this board to bring back old threads?
Thought some people may have been interested.
It\'s all good, guy! Especially good is any time one can experience the ZPZ experience. Tremendous commitment to the genius that was Frank. And get the DVD - NOW!!!!!!!

Just saw Zappa plays Zappa on Oct 30 at Warner Theatre in DC. What a blazing, tight and wicked show that was. Dweezil makes a good leader with his directing but this band knows the repertoire so well it\'s sick. Every one of those players has tremendous talent. Napoleon Murphy Brock is the consumate entertainer/player. He is so animated, I\'ve never seen anything like it. Scheila Gonzalez... is... so, so, so sexy. She plays the hell out of the sax with those wicked-tight hooks like I never heard a woman play. Her fill harmonies are wild and well timed. Billy Hulting on marimba and all things percussion provides the classic Zappa wild and crazy sounds. Terry Bozzio comes on later in the set after you think the energy level was already at fever pitch and steps it up another 5 notches. Steve Vai and Dweezil fit real well together. This show was one of the best things I have ever experienced in music. Go see it. It\'s expensive ($75 at Warner), but worth every note.
