while i love intension, i\'m not a fan of the "new" sound....
Thank you!!! Didn\'t want to be a spoiler or anything....but this is why I didn\'t pick this song as a representative! Don\'t get ne wrong...I still LOVE Intension on the cd, but...

while i love intension, i\'m not a fan of the "new" sound.... i think psygn is the best representation this band has to offer
-
But seriously this will be the best Breakfast cd ever because they are obviously playing to the fans they know they have, rather than to fans they hope they might have.
They finally made a cd that THEY wanted to do, for themselves, and no one else. And it is KILLER!!!!!
i\'ll be the judge of that ;)

i wann hear honey butter. it seems like everytime i hear it the version is really unique and i\'d liekt o see what was harnessed in the studio.

Nothing at all was cut for the CD. But for downlading purposes 10 minute songs are pretty annoying.
Rust was too late. Eppy 3 was not even discussed.
Psygen will be one....Probably not Tricky or Good Things as I don\'t want\'t to confuse folks who don\'t know the band, although Good Things on the CD is brilliant. Still thinking on the other. I\'ll try to get Psygen off before I leave for the weekend.
Cool. I guess I\'m a damn hippie who likes 10 minute songs! But seriously this will be the best Breakfast cd ever because they are obviously playing to the fans they know they have, rather than to fans they hope they might have.

PSYGN and INTENSION
all the way
i\'m call Psygn the TT winner next year.. especially after this album
-
ive heard psygn a few weeks ago and the psygn jam is by far and away the best jam ever recorded by any band in a studio.
I\'ll believe it when I hear it. Knowing The Breakfast, this may not just be a matter of opinion.
:guitar:
I can tell you that the band feels it is the best jam they could have done. I heard Animal that he was thrilled with the way it came out.
Rumor also has it that tL&tG > OE was done on 1 take.

while I may not like you, I agree with you about the Psygn jam.
This entire album is 2 steps ahead of anything they have done in the past.

Since I rarely see the band, I haven\'t been as captivated by many of these songs (yet). I\'m hoping the upcoming release turns me into a "believer" of each track.
My picks are Honeybutter and LATG/OE.
-
cut your hair you damn hippies
-
He didn\'t say anything about cutting anything......
-
Question: if the album is 68 minutes long, why do any of the tracks need to be edited? Nowadays most cd\'s are like 70 minutes, and any **** Breakfast fan likes the idea of longer jammed out tracks. I say leave it like it is and if you have to cut something, cut a shorter song.
-
Psygn and Intension are the 2 best for Promo.
-
Eppy 3 needs more time grow, I\'m not a huge fan of it currently, of course they don\'t playi it all that much either, and so far not at all as a trio
-
eppy 3 - the breakfast\'s red-headed step-child.
-
I think rust was written too late for the album.
-
great track order. I figured the late and the great/overexposure would be final 2 tracks. def. like the psygn and future peek nice one two combo to start things off. this may have been answered before but how come no eppy 3 or rust.
-
Good Things - best track imo
-
Intension and The Late And The Great/Over Exposure, but only because intension and over exposure are my two favs lately. I agree with todd though in that you want the two songs that you feel represent the band best, irregardless of what I want to hear.
:that:
-
i went honey butter and good things. i love honey butter and i\'ve heard nothing but good things about how good good things is! ;)
-
I voted for #2- Tricky Ways...
...Intension is superb, but in my opinion, not representative of the band enough to use for promos.
so a rock tune isn\'t representative of the band enough, but a blues tune is?? :hscratch::confused::idunno:

Any idiot who querstions if these guys can jam after this will be looked at as a complete idiot.
:that: NO DOUBT!!!!
I voted for #1- Psygn and #2- Tricky Ways. Honeybutter comes in a VERY close 3rd. Having heard the entire cd (mid August mix), I have to say this is by far THE BEST I\'ve ever heard these guys!!! Intension is superb, but in my opinion, not representative of the band enough to use for promos.  to Vic and the band for an incredible cd!!!!!
-
I have intentionally avoided hearing pieces of this album on more than one occasion... thus I am not voting and will not listen to any clip that has been edited before I hear the full thing. If full-length samples should be released, I may take a listen, but that\'s about it.
This is not a condemnation of this poll, of course, just a personal opinion that I felt the need to share because I haven\'t posted in several days and I don\'t want Dave to think I don\'t care about his website anymore :drew: . Anything that gets one extra copy of the album sold or one extra ass in the door of a venue is fine by me.
-
woah.
this is the toughest decision I had to make all day.
I want to hear the final cut of Good Things.
But the two songs I\'d like to hear are:
Intension
and
Psygn
-
I would have voted for TLATG>OE, but something that epic I sort of want to wait for the final album to hear.
-
poll added
-
future peak and over exposure
maybe you could make a poll to more easily gather this data
(i suppose this would mean a two part poll - one for the first song and one for the second)
-
intension and psygn
-
Weird Slim...I was gonna say the exact same thing. Those are my two faves right now.
-
Psygen & Tricky Ways
-
So...i\'ve been listening to this thing all day trying make sure its cool....which it seems to be. Of course...if you make records sending them to press is like sending kids to kindergarten, but I\'ll get used to it someday.
I have to make some MP3s of a couple of songs for promo use. They might have to be edited, cause these suckers are LONG. Any idiot who querstions if these guys can jam after this will be looked at as a complete idiot.
Anyway...what two songs would YOU like to hear. Can\'t gaurantee
the choice....but I do want to hear what you would like.
PSYGEN
FUTURE PEAK
HONEY BUTTER
GOOD THINGS
SURREAL RADIO
TRICKY WAYS
INTENSION
THE LATE AND THE GREAT
OVEREXPOSURE
TLATG and Overexposure play as one 19 minute cut, but you can cue up Overexposure by itself.
the CD runs 68:07
