Great show but House is the only character that really does anything for me. Most of the other characters are pretty blah...
Still love watching it when I happen to notice it\'s on however.
Spinoff for House?
Plans may be afoot at FOX.
by Eric Goldman
May 7, 2008 - Fox seems in a spinoff mood of late. The network had been developing a female-centered spinoff for Prison Break (though there hasn\'t been any word on that of late); the Family Guy spinoff The Cleveland Show is expected to be picked up for next season; and now it turns out a House spinoff is in development.
TV Guide\'s Michael Ausiello says Fox and NBC Universal (who produce House) are quietly developing the spinoff in hopes of launching it next year. Ausiello says the plan doesn\'t currently involve centering the spinoff on an existing character but rather to introduce a new male private investigator character on the show next season for a several episode stint. The P.I. then may be given his own show, if the character/actor seems to work well during his time on House.
More about that House spinoff

Back in May -- remember that far back -- Isabelle wrote about the fact that David Shore, creator of House, was contemplating a new show. It was a spinoff of House, but not a medical show. It was going to be in the private eye genre.
Newark Star-Ledger columnist Alan Sepinwall (with Dan Feinberg) did an interview with David recently and found out some more information about the spinoff.
"We brought in a character, partway through the year, [actor] Michael Weston as this private investigator House goes to. The spinoff would be less of a spinoff, it would be more us using House to launch it. It would be an independent world. A character out of the House mold, but definitely different."
Shore said that we can expect Michael Weston -- which is funny that that\'s the same name as Jeffrey Donovan\'s character on Burn Notice, only that character\'s name is spelled Westen -- to appear early in the new season.
According to Shore, "House is constantly sending people to break into people\'s homes, and he does it the right way in one episode. It\'s a character that only House could love."
Finally, Shore revealed that he wants to do this kind of story because... "I\'ve always loved The Rockford Files." Hmm, Rockford. Interesting. Who could Shore cast in a role that has the charm of James Garner\'s Jim Rockford and the irascibility of Hugh Laurie\'s Gregory House?
I would have no trouble tuning in to watch a detective series in The Rockford Files tradition -- which is what Magnum, P.I. was inspired by -- and with David Shore behind the creation, I have faith the show would be something worth watching. There really aren\'t many detective shows on TV right now, what with all the procedurals and forensics. I could get psyched about this. (Speaking of which, I love the Psych detectives.)
Production staff at House say they have one more script that they will be shooting next week. After that, the show will slowly shut down production. Actors and most of the crew will be gone by the end of next week. There are a handful of post production people that will have work until the end of January - source. There are six episodes left to air and will be shown as a mix of repeats and new episodes - they\'re saving some of them for the new year. One is going to be aired after the Superbowl
House just needs to get rid of that blonde ****, she\'s awful.
That was the stupidest movie ever, next to Snoop Dog in Bones.
For those who haven\'t seen House, you are missing out. It is easily the best show on television.:awwyeah:
Just saw a video on Fox\'s website with House being followed around by a large group of prospectives, and I swear one of them was Kal Penn of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle fame. (which I just found out they\'re currently making a sewuel to, loved that movie too funny) That would just be weird if he made it to the team.
House: “Are you a fan of symmetry?”
Young Doctor: “Sure.”
House: “Weird, because your eyes are lopsided. And by eyes I mean breasts.”
“Interview? You test drive a car before you buy it; you have sex before you get married. I can’t hire a team based on a ten minute interview. What if I don’t like having sex with them?”
Just saw last night\'s premiere... funny, but it makes me wonder who his new team will be, or if he will be back with the old group (still listed on the credits) ??
boo. I think I missed this last night because I was too busy laughing at Fox News and it was difficult to turn off that crazy channel and the views the express are out of this **** world and my reality.
House: "I want him to argue his point.
Foreman: "I assumed you considered the father and ruled him out."
House: "What\'s that saying: When you ass-ume you become a pain in the ass to me."
Foreman: "Why should I argue? You\'d just overrule me."
House: "Enough! Get a pony or a watermelon farm."
Cameron: "House!"
House trying to get a rise out of Foreman: "My other choice was your stupid psych theory." [but Foreman doesn\'t react] "Which was not stupid. I tell you. I\'m gonna drop the N-bomb if I have to."
great show
Dr. Cameron: Men should grow up.
Dr. Gregory House: Yeah. And dogs should stop licking themselves. It\'s not gonna happen.
Dr. Cameron: [outraged] You pulled my medical records?
Dr. Gregory House: You coughed the other day, I was concerned.
Dr. Cameron: You were curious. Like an eight year old boy with a puzzle that\'s just a little too grown up for him to figure out.
[stalks off]
Dr. Gregory House: To-MAY-to, to-MAH-to...
