the new album really does have alot of keys on it.
-
Glad you had fun. Kinda thought he\'d be on keys. But, would have been happily surprised if not.
-
nothing rediculously mind blowing, I\'m really glad I went. he was playing keys, which was a little weird but still cool. Got there late and missed a few tunes but caugth most of the show.
Set 1: Cat\'s in the Well, You Ain\'t Goin\' Nowhere, Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum, The Man in Me, Watching the River Flow, Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again, Not Dark Yet, Highway 61 Revisited, Visions of Johanna, I\'ll Be Your Baby Tonight, Sugar Baby, Summer Days
E: Like a Rolling Stone, All Along the Watchtower
Like a Rolling Stone was AWESOME! I like his new album and def enjoyed some of those tunes. The place was def packed small for a ballpark but still a couple thou there. I had fun, but like I said nothing too crazy, I think you kinda get what your expecting with Dylan. Would def go again though.

uhmmm Well???????? How was it?

I heard he switched to piano because guitar was aggravating a case of carpal tunnel, that he undoubtably received from constantly masterbating to breakfast shows downloaded off archive.org.

as opposed to?
keys
I didn\'t know that. I think he is playing guitar, he is in his latest IPod commercial
Yeah well for the past 4-5 years he has been playing keys in his live show. No one knows why.
So his commercial may not be indicative of his live act.
I am sure he plays guitar for albums and such.

Last night I got his newest album off iTunes and it came w/ video of a recent live performance... and he was playing guitar. He may have just picked it up knowing that the video was to be released... or maybe his family had an intervention to stop his deviant self gratification issues. Who knows.

how was the show?
Out of the 20+ shows I\'ve seen, it was at the bottom of the group. Can def. see his age on stage!! Hopefully you get a great show!!!
-
well I\'ll let you know tomorrow, I would be a little sad if he was playing keys

When I saw him at Yale Bowl, except for walking on/ off stage, he stood up for maybe 6 minutes tops.

pretty sure I just got tickets for this show. I was trying all afternoon yesterday to win them from I-95 (brookfield radio station) but no dice. Then got to work and a friend said she was going but didn\'t want to go. Called me tonight and siad the tickets were mine!! SER pumped for this I have actually never seen him, and from the little I\'ve heard of his new album it\'s awesome. Very excited!

The taste is bad enough. Smoking them is just down right nasty!!!!
-
I never felt like smokin boomers did much for me.......
at the very least it\'s more beneficial to just chomp em
-
Joce.....I am not really a fan of smokin boomers either. someone told me that you could get off by smokin em, and since i ate a ton before the show and puffed all my buds before willie nelson finished his set, i had nothing to do but smoke some boomers.....
-
seen Dylan a few times. never had to pay for the ticket though.
i\'d be game to check it out. nothing like old hippies and old hippie drugs.
-
50 bucks? Holy hell. I haven\'t seen him since the tour with Phil and it looks like I won\'t be seeing him on this tour....
I have never been comfortable with the idea of smoking boomers. Not the band. Although they make me uncomfortable too. :P
Seroiously though, something about the idea of spores in my lungs... I dunno...
-
ouch Lookin to be about $50, didn\'t search too hard but it seemed like there might be a discount through his website......
-
I would love to get to the hard hittin new britain show.....and it does fit into the schedule.....
what are ticket prices like?
Last time I saw Dylan was at Yale Field. Willie Nelson stole the show, and I was literally smokin boomers. some guy thought i was smokin pot and asked me for a hit....the look on his face was priceless when he puffed off the bowl....later on in the show i was in the middle of a bunch of germans speaking german.....really tripped me out......then after the show, billy chags got us kicked out of new west cafe......classic night...
