I actually work right next to a woman who deals with debit card fraud. You wouldn\'t believe how many people still fall for this ****. Spoof emails from chase, paypal, etc. asking for you to update your 411 with social and card # etc. Lots of sleazeballs out there looking for bait. But lots of people respond and that\'s why it still goes on. Pretty sad. But yeah, just delete \'em....

I weird to think that people spend their entire days trying to fraudulently accumulate the sensitive data of others.
Not really. As far as ripping people off, it\'s an easy way to do it. I don\'t find it at all weird or suprising. It\'s an inevitable by product of internet commerce.

Auctioner: Our first item is a pair of panties confiscated from a prostitute.
Quagmire: Fifty bucks.
Auctioner: She had nine STDs.
Quagmire: Forty-five bucks.
Auctioner: And when we caught her she wet herself.
Quagmire: Fifty bucks.

I don\'t use ebay, but if I can get used women\'s panties on there I just might start using it ;)
-
Chris the bank account thing is a scam but make sure you follow any/all directions from ebay about updating your personal information. If you don\'t, you may not be able to make ebay purchases anymore which means you will have to work much harder to acquire used womens\' underwear.

I have been getting numerous emails asking me to confirm or update my bank account with various different banks.
The first one I got was from Bank Of America (my bank) The e-mail looked just as one from BOA would so I clicked the link and began following the instructions, until they started asking for my Social and pin number and it made me nervous. I have still been able to log into my online account with out trouble so I believe it was a faulty e-mail.
Even more so since today I have receive 3 or 4 more e-mails from banks I do not have an account with (WellsFargo, Wachovia).
So this is just a general beware and reminder. NEVER give personal info over the internet, unless it\'s someone you have already been in direct contact with.
