The plan is simple. Promote. The last show at Daniel Street was never promoted. The band went on the road and I was basically told to do what I can, so nothing was really done the way it should have been.
As soon as I get the plan out of my head and onto paper, I will let you know, there is definitely no reason after Toad\'s Place not to have a line out the door.

Going back to Pearl St. downstairs would def been seen as a step backwards by almost anybody in the Northampton area. See, Calvin, Iron Horse, and Pearl St. are all owned by the same dude, and Pearl St. downstairs is always where he sticks his acts with the least draw on a particular night. Pearl St. upstairs, on the other hand, is at least as popular as Iron Horse, but better suited to bands that don\'t put you to sleep.

Well, in Northampton there are 2 "steps up" from Iron Horse.
1 is the Calvin, and that would suck. Tix there are like 30 bux at least no matter who it is.
2 is Pearl St. Ballroom (aka upstairs). This is where Breakfast *should* be playing, it\'s a great party atmosphere with a big dance area and a couple bars. And this venue isn\'t really expensive either, depends on the act.
I\'ve only seen PB/Breakfast play Pearl St clubroom (downstairs, shitty part) and Iron Horse. Iron Horse is usually for adult-alternative bands and **** where people don\'t even bother standing up for the show.
