that boy= cee lo and dj danger mouse....
to much forced soul/production for this jaded individual.. to much hype leading up to... well, meh, in my humble opinion..
You don\'t have to like it, but let me tell you what: that CD turned my party out...and sometimes that\'s all that matters. I\'ve played a lot of stuff at my parties over the years and Gnarles\' album has just the right mix of funk and soul to groove the halfway-bewtween-pop-and-headdy-crowd. I actually shuffled it with Michael Jackson\'s "Off The Wall" album (an all-time can\'t-miss party classic) to make sure that the new stuff I was debuting (Gnarles) was mixed with some sure shots. Female:male ratio of dance party during shuffle: 15:2. Ser stuff.

What is that song that he does at the MTV awards? It\'s a cover, no?
"Crazy" is the first single from Gnarls Barkley, a musical collaboration between Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo, and is taken from their 2006 debut album St. Elsewhere. It became the first UK number one single based on download sales alone.
The song was leaked in late 2005, months before its regular release, and consequently received massive airplay on BBC Radio 1 in the United Kingdom, most notably by radio DJ Zane Lowe, who also used the song in TV ads for his show.
After nine weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart, the band and their record company decided to delete the single from UK stores on 28 May 2006 so people will "remember the song fondly and not get sick of it."
The song samples a portion of a song by the brothers Gianfranco and Gianpiero Reverberi. The song is listed in the liner notes as "Last Man Standing," but can be found on the soundtrack to the spaghetti Western film Preparati la Bara! as "Nel Cimitero di Tucson."
Both The Kooks and Nelly Furtado covered "Crazy" on BBC Radio 1\'s Live Lounge. Folk singer Ray LaMontagne has also covered the song,[6] and Paris Hilton has delayed the release of her debut album Paris to include a cover of "Crazy" as well.

Gnarles, Star Wars, Borat...you\'re right coyote, this is one of my favorite videos of all time. Great on so many levels. It\'s funny cause I was BLASTING the Gnarles album at my party last night, causing some ser girl-on-girl action in my living room. I had no idea he was ripping up the MTV awards at the same time. That boy just blew up.
