I saw moe last night...and I had a great time. I was thinking that it was gonna be mediocre but it was really good. A little to slow for me at times...but a damn good way to spend a thursday night.
It was good too see Igzy, carla, dustin, and dobson.

Geez leith I was just horsing around. Stop being so miserable. And tell ALO and SCC that there\'s more to the northeast than New York! I\'d love to see ALO again if they would play in MA, CT, or NH.
Wolfman admits he is horsing around and its apparant that if you just overlooked Wolfmans post you could have saved this thread from crashing. For the most part everyone was rattling off what shows they were seeing this June. Then the attack came and people defended themselves or someone.
This thread is stupid when it comes down to arguing about 90% of the people being closeminded. If this didn\'t turn into the typical shitstorm, then this thread would have been top-notch. Its time to get this thread back on track and forget about this 90% close-minded ****.

All I saw on the first page of posts was people talking about what shows they had planned on for June, then you girl came on busted your ballz and the **** storm hit when you made the assumption that we are all closeminded. I thought the folk on here were music lovers so I put out options for those that wanted to go hear some music since The Breakfast is not playing alot.
ONLY 2 of THE DATES I LISTED CONFLICTED w/ BFAST DATES. Maybe someone could not make The BFast but still wanted to hear some good music that night.

Sure that 90% listens to other music but if another band is mentioned (in the appropriate forum no less) here, there is a huge tendency to bash said band. For no good reason other than to prop up The Breakfast. That is what I mean by closeminded.
If The Breakfast is not playing this board is not as active.
I try and put out suggestions for folk that may not have the time to search out music in the area and thus miss out.
I try not to post about a certain band anymore because some people just can not handle that band success. So i have put out other suggestions I think some may want to check out.

being open minded and starting arguments and defending whole heartedly a theory are two different things. and just incase you forgot this is the Breakfast fan site. we wouldn\'t be members and post if we didn\'t stand behind this band 100%. i honestly wouldn\'t care who was playing around me, if the breakfast are playing with in 2-3 hours from where i am, i am most probably going to be at that show

I need to find a jammy rock fix while in the long interim between Breakfast shows. I\'ve gotten my fill of Nu Jazz, soul jazz and other grooves, but haven\'t been rocked in the two months since I hopped on the west coast Breakfast tour.

Sorry Seth not being miserable, I just responded that way because history has shown any thread of mine you post in is most likely going to be attacking me or the subject of my thread. It\'s hard to know when you profess to be "horsing around".
I totally agree that NYC is not the only place to play in the NE, it must be a bummer for the other states nearby.

I might go see Umphrey\'s @ Pines Theater in Northampton on July 19... (what the heck I can walk from my apt to this place and its a nice outdoor venue)
and probably Trey + Phil + Mike + Duo over @ Tweeter
maybe a reggae fest in Pittsfield, we\'ll see.
I don\'t catch many "other" shows these days though. My favorite band to see is Breakfast and my second favorite band to see is my own band or just me playing solo (pretty cool huh, I get to listen to exactly what I want that way hehehe).
Oh yeah, might go see Bruce Hornsby and the Black Crowes too.
