saturday june 3rd is national trails day. look for events in your area to help volunteer to do some trailwork in your state parks!

Cool, there are some amazing trails through redwood forests about 2 miles from my house.

I know you can purchase a book that contains a list of all the places in CT to go for a hike. My buddy has a copy of it. I\'m sure there is a list contained on the Intrawebs that might be of value.

Perhaps these may be of some use:

Congratulations on your move!  Castle Craig is a part of Hubbard Park in Meriden - right off of Main Street.  I\'ve had many great nights partying up there... ;)

So I recently moved from Branford to Wallingford.  Anyone know any good hiking spots up here?  I\'ve been going to Sleeping Giant all the time, but I\'ve been to trails in Wallingford, Meriden, Middletown and Southington with a friend several years ago, not sure what they are called or how to get to them.  I think one of them was Castle Craig.
