-
yeah, same setup and spot. just trying to ease my cravings.
-
it was two different dudes
-
to the taper: did this show turn out as good as the first night? did it turn out?
-
??????????
-
doh!
-
i am predicting it will be up on tuesday
-
.................2001.................
-
yeah, thanks.
-
thanks dave
-
in the mail.
-
what\'s the status of these shows? in the mail? uploading? i\'m not being an ass , just wanna know.
-
it was pretty packed. id say 90% male though
. i\'m glad to see \'01 making lots of appearances lately. i\'ve heard the \'01 from porters last summer after the puppethouse and if they are playing it like they did then.... watch out!
2001 was bigger than huge. probably the best 2001 ive seen by any band, and that includes phish
Thats sweet i can\'t wait to get this show off of archives

oh yeah spring break @ SU never occured to me...
until like 1/2 a year ago I liked a little room to move around at breakfast shows too... but with each show they step it up a notch and it becomes more and more of a shame that these small venues aren\'t selling out
-
^ still not over the fact i missed these shows :banghead:
-
i know its not in the bands best interest but I would take that crowd over a shoulder to shoulder type deal anyday.
everyone was wicked cool. i met a bunch of great new people both nights
TONS of room for boogying allowed for one of the serest dance parties ever
it may not have been the best for the band but it was perfect for us
-
ive seen poorly attended shows before. the place wasnt bursting saturday night, but there was definitely a good crowd throwing down
-
i feel the poor turn out was due to the fact that SU was on spring break. kind of a dumb weekend to book a double header. but god bless the boys for not letting it get them down!
-
Oh man, sick show. Esp Set 2
Tribal Funk was heady... May Fly was the best I\'ve seen.... 2001 > Psygn > Son of Simpleton was outta control. The 2001 in particular was a huge step up from any time I\'ve seen or heard Breakfast or Phish bust this out...
My only compliant: Not enough people saw this show!! Syracuse/upstateNY crew should make sure there\'s 2x as many people there at least. The fact that there were less people the 2nd night than the 1st night is kinda weak. I know Breakfast can draw 2-3x as many people in that venue, I\'ve seen it. What gives? I thought next time I saw Breakfast in Syracuse they\'d need a bigger venue! Guess not...
-
thanks everyone I am glad you all enjoyed it!
wait till ya hear the tapes that all i got to say!
-
what a review!! i\'m vaklempt! i feel like i was there, minus gizz stains in my shorts
-
i forgot to mention that there was a photographer from the paper there and me and some TRB and bfast will all be in the syracuse news paper thursday!
I will try to scan pics and article if there is one and post it
-
there is no words that i can use to describe my pain in not being able to go to syrause, up until the mornin of the first show, i was 100% there, until my keys got locked in my friends car and AAA coulndnt break into it and i couldnt throw a brick thru the window......
jam>2001>may fly = me crying
-
Headie review klout. see ya at a show soon?
-
best i have ever seen ronnie play
-
great review, i wish i could have been there!
-
great review. sums up the night perfectly. can\'t wait til others can hear the madness too
-
how about ronny that night! he was rippin\' **** up!! he owned 2001!
-
exactly, spacey! they are really in the midst of finding their own, distinct sound. a little maturity, a little more control and a clearer view of what they want to sound like are becoming more obvious with every show. this tour did nothing but help that along quite a ways!
-
sound and lights were both great last night.
These two guys, Dobs and Ellis, make the show so much more.
i am totally ser in that comment spacey. wait till you read this review. your gonna bug son.
Glad to hear it. I can\'t wait to read this review. I been saying to myself that this band is not the same band I saw a couple of months ago. They sounded so much more confident and mature. I think that they finally found the "sound" they were searching for. Even the older tunes are sounding musically 100% better, IMO.

the guy who taped (forgot his name) SAID he was going to get the tapes to peck for uploading so keep your fingers crossed. I think they will sound sick if they surface though. Dobs did an amazing job and the sound was as crispy as I have ever heard it and the guy said he had the same mics as peck.
-
Best breakfast show I\'ve ever seen.
Ladies and Gentlemen, KLOUT!!!
Great to have you back.
-
i really really hope the tapers put this one on the archive or etree. The ones in december and january were amazing too and I\'ve never seen the copies out there. Thanks to the breakfast for two insane shows!!
-
i\'m gonna do a full review of this gem. so stay tuned
-
jeeezzzzuuuuusssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, i guess its not like i didn\'t expect these two shows to be out of control, but jeeeeeeeeeeezzzzuuuuuuuuuusssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:killself:
[BANANA]bring on B-town[/BANANA]
-
i\'m gonna go ahead and say in advance that the 4/20 show in btown will be the
Best breakfast show I\'ve ever seen.
i\'m seriously jealous of you upstate NY folk. i came close to convincing jeff (siakadelik) to spontaniously drive to seracuse but he wasn\'t having it.
-
^ yeah, me too

120 first night, 100 second night
-
was it packed?
-
abosolutely one of the best shows i\'ve seen. i don\'t know if jordan has played his keys like he did last night........unbelievable synths and some **** karate chopping on the organ made for some serious sequoia highlights. Tim was on fire, but Jordan was at another level. this show was top notch in the fun factor, and it sure would have been nice to see some more familiar faces.
-
was anyone taping? this one is worth hearing for sure. the peak in mayfly was out of this world. the intro to psygn was very interesting as well.
May Fly as of late, IMO, has been coming in a like a gangbanger. This tune is quickly becoming a favortie as it is so down low dirty.
-
:jawdrop:
-
ser lookisng setlist. no new songs (except for psyn, which doesn\'t seem that new anymore). good crowd? i wish i could have been there. i\'m glad to see \'01 making lots of appearances lately. i\'ve heard the \'01 from porters last summer after the puppethouse and if they are playing it like they did then.... watch out!
-

i had tapers out the last 2 nights..
-
Last night was burning. Tim was totally on from the get go. set two was one huge highlight. me and klout owned the front row.

-
You son\'s of a ****!
Why is everyshow I don\'t go to the show I wish I went to.
I definitely did not need to see jam > 2001 > May Fly, damn thee!
-
Who was screaming for it that night????
No one. West Coast just puts out the vibe, the guys feel it and play it.
That\'s how we do it out here yo!
Actually Echo had been asking all tour and I asked for it as we were writing up the 2nd set during break. As they ran out of time to do Epi.3 SOS was perfect for the spot.
-
Who was screaming for it that night????
-
When was the last time a SOS was played without the help of relentless yelling by myself or mikey helluvahat?????
3/31/06.
-
Holy **** ARE YOU SER????????
Its setlists like this one that are gonna take this band to, yet, the next level...
When was the last time a SOS was played without the help of relentless yelling by myself or mikey helluvahat?????
-
last night was alot of fun. first time at that place, real chill atmosphere. zappa as an opener, come on. second set to me was just what i needed, it rocked **** real hard. 2001!! psygn>sos! can\'t wait to hear the 2001. they should have played "dancin in the streets" right after because of the two gettin down to 2001 outside. great time.
