it occurred to me today that i havent considered the possibility of this show selling out. The Wailers are still a fairly big name, but anyone know the possibility?? id buy the tix online right away but ticket prices almost double with all the bullshit ticketmaster charges, from $20 to $35. this hasnt been an issue for me w/The Breakfast and now im a little worried that i could **** up and show up on friday to find the doors have been closed. just wondering if anyone has some insight in this manner. if theres a serious chance of selling out ill bend over for ticketmaster b/c i cant get shut out for this.

ive been to tons of shows at HOB, easily my favorite venue to see a concert because of how great the sound quality is, the lights, the setup. no i was not at crystal bay, so what, wanna fight about it.

I just know the 4 I have been to and the Sunset HOB is awesome as is Vegas while Anaheim is waay cramped and SD\'s should not have the HOB name really.
Since Chicago\'s is older it is probably one of the better ones.
The more they build the more it just becomes a name.

Dude you were not @ Crystal Bay.
I know how cheap HOB management is. I highly doubt they have a better system than the one @ Crystal Bay.
That being said, they will still be the beneficiaries of some very nice equipment @ HOB.

steves whistle is VERY loud in person. I do not recomend standing anywhere near him untill you get an idea. Since steve is "save side fo\' life", head to the back of the room on jordans side for the first few whistles to properly guage your hearing.
i normally grab the same spot at every HOB show i hit up, which would be jordan side and elevated above the main floor. ill just hope the airwaves enjoy the extremely high ceiling and lose some steem.

looking forward to my first live "whistler" experience. i find it to be an enhancer on recordings. unlike the guy who keeps yelping "woo-hoo-hoo" in a high-pitched voice on some recordings. its prevalent on the 4.20.05 show, **** drives me up a wall.

this show is gonna be great.. i just got hired for a 6-month job out in OR/WA and this will be my last weekend home. i put in my notice to leave work on the Thurs. of the madison show, so i might be doing the 3-day run from Madison > Chicago > Minneapolis.. just not positive on the Cabooze show yet. hell yeah, im lookin to throw down with TB as a farewell to myself.

honestly, i dont know where ill be staying that night (i dont live in the city).. youre welcome to come along for wherever that might be, a hotel might be in order.. ill keep you posted in the coming weeks as to whats going on, i have no idea at the moment. and if you decide to stick around for HBRSB in Lafayette which will cause you to miss this ridiculous event, youre officially an L - 7 - Double - Weeeeeeeenie......

i just thought about Over Exposure as a reggae groove too, honestly i dont care what they play as long as their balls are exposed per usual. hope they get a solid hour, i dont know what to expect.

holy ****!! this is fantastic news. so how about some info from those who know... howd this happen?? id say this is a big step here in the Windy City. HOB is definitely my favorite venue downtown and to open for The Wailers!! there will definitely be a crowd. all i can say is, Fuckin a\'.
By the way, who\'s coming?? ill be going to Madison the night before too.
