Although he is one of those people who sometimes look really great and sometimes look totally unappealing. When his hair is super short and poppy he doesn\'t really look like a man... lol... but sometimes he looks pretty damn good.

40 bucks seems like a pretty good deal for two pipin hot pieces o\' ass.

A friend of mine just recorded an album in the same studio where John Mayer records his. (Some super famous sound guy... I dunno...) He said that he got to hear bits of a new album that Mayer is (very slowly) working on, and it sounds really good. The sound guy also said that Mayer is "embarassed" by his pop work, and feels like now that he has made the big bucks, he feels really freed up to go in other directions and explore music that appeals to him more. So I say, good for him. It\'s pretty much the opposite of what usually happens with musicians: after the fame and money, the music becomes increasingly commercialized and rapidly goes downhill. Nice to see someone trying to take it in the other direction. However, the sound guy also said that Mayer was so relaxed about working on the new album that he didn\'t know if it would ever be finished. :lol:

i\'ve got that album. its ok. i\'m still astounded that buddy guy shares the stage with him. the acl clip with the two of them had me thinking \'ok, mayer\'s not awful....\' then guy got onstage and it quickly changed to \'oooops, no. he\'s awful, all right!\'

mayer\'s \'wait until tomorrow\' bugs the ever living hell outta me.

I just got an album by an unexpected blues artist.  It\'s called Try, and before I tell you who it is let me say that I wa pleasantly surprised.  Dude can play the guitar and it\'s a pretty good live blues album.  Can anyone guess which pop star this is? (who sings about the same place as  alice and the white rabbit travel to)
