Nerd. :)

I hope that you have some kind of RAID with fault tolerence running. Be a damn shame to have you loose stuff as I did when my last drive went.

no RAID, but i am backing everything up to HD now via rsync (DeltaCopy), hence the massive amounts of space..

note - it says \'Limit 1 per household\', but you can add as many as you want to your cart, and they\'ll ship.
Tried to get 3 and it came back to just one in the cart. Guess I\'ll get two: one shipped here and one to Robyn\'s place.

yeah i noticed that too when i tried adding it to my cart. last week they had the same notice on a Maxtor 300gb drive for the same price, and i was able to order 2 no problem..

i should probably just stick with 1 anyways, considering there\'s now 3.7TB connected to my computer alone..

any good deals on motherboards and processors out there. i wonder if i can get away with the case i have and just replace everything that is inside.

not sure how much of a powerhouse you want to build, but this is a pretty good deal on a mobo/cpu:

http://shop3.outpost.com/product/4705559

AMD Sempron Processor 3100+
& ECS NFORCE3-A Motherboard

High-performance Hyper Transport CPU interface!

   * 754-pin CPU has Enhanced Virus Protection
    * NVIDIA nForce3 250 Single Chipset
    * AGP8x/4x
    * 5 PCI Slots
    * DDR400
    * SATA/RAID 0/1/0+1
    * 6 Channel Audio
    * 10/100 LAN RJ45

I\'m not really sure what all that means but it looks impressive. I basically have a comp from 97ish pentium2, **** for hard drive space. i need something to be able to do moderate computer graphics without waiting for a year and half.

where do I locate the $19.99 10-20GB 2.5" Notebook Hard Drives? If they\'re selling 300GB for $90, a 20GB notebook drive should be crazy cheap somewhere

yeah, notebook HD deals are few and far between. IBM had 40GB notebook drives for < $40 a couple months ago, but that deal is long gone..

have you checked eBay?

Is this internal or external? I am in the search of an external hd of the same caliber.

this is an internal drive. grab it, and pick up an external case from dealsonic.com and save yourself a shitload of money over an external drive.

ser?

all i would need to purchased is an external case? right on!

thanks for the advice.
