^^the breakdown during slime is unbelievable, the band is so fuckin together on that
-
This show is def. very high in my cd player rotation!!! That Slime>Puppetry is great!!
-
Yeah I believe in the thread asking which was the best from the west all of the tour rats agree Crystal Bay was the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
agreed. definitely my favorite show to listen to from the tour. 3/31 was fun and had its moments but Crystal Bay was just sick.
-
yeah, i agree that this was the best show of the tour (that i\'ve heard, but so far i\'ve heard every one that\'s on the archive)
-
just listened to this show the last couple of days... unfuckingreal. some of the best jams ive ever heard.. surprised that noone is giving Hard Luck Harry much praise, by far the best version *imo* ive heard to date. the Puppetry is disgusting, even Doughboy is special and goes further than i expected. cant recall hearing a better Sleeping Beauty either. there were moments in Tom Sawyer where i wasnt sure what song it was, glorious jams. WOW. all i have to listen to is Buquebus and this show is already in my top 5 without it. if there was a better show on this west coast tour in anyone\'s opinion, please let me know. i already listened to the 3-24 and it was great, but definitely not on this level. im blown away. :)
-
I LOVE the sweatpants guy! Who bellies up to the stage and eats a quesadilla????? What????
-
There were some characters at this show, partcularly a guy named Porkchop and the front row rager wearing sweatpants. Lots of older folks raging at this show.
Watching Leith getting owned down to his knees during Puppetry was also a notable moment.
-
just noticed a nice little 3rd stone tease by jordan right before they get to i\'m the slime. niiiice....
-
the break down in Slime is fuckin SER!! I love it the band is really together on it
-
That Buquebus was very good, but imagine it with the acoustic drum setup and that giant wood block from the Big Bang. Adrian needs to start bringing that set-up with them...STAT!
Truth!
HLH was fine too.

I: Great Big Fiery Ball In The Sky > Cosmic Spaceway Rhyme, jam > Sundance, Fresh Cut, jam > Sleeping Beauty > I\'m The Slime > Puppetry
II: Doughboy, Hard Luck Harry > Bugs, Surreal Radio > May Fly Disarray, Good Things > Tom Sawyer
E: jam > Buquebus
Thanks to bezerker for the call!
Awesome show! I like the way the boys sound. Hope they get to go back there with a larger crowd next time. Some flawless execution of jamming these songs together. My highlights for this show are the insane dance party Puppetry, no so dark this time around. Doughboy with the SYNTH is insane. Surreal Radio is a good tune. The May Fly has an awesome beat going. The Buquebus, per usual, is great.
-
:that:
-
HOLY ****!! Todd played this for me on sat night, amazing show, ridiculous jams......
-
i blew away some folks with this show last night. and completely stunned myself during that puppetry!!!
Way to fuckin go, boys!!!

LOVE the relentless bust into Tom Sawyer. awesome. sound is fantastic.
Does that mean the recording captures much of the magic that went down on Thurs.?

i\'m retracking, renaming, and uploading the show to archive now.

Sounds like a scorcher - pics look like it must have been one hell of an experience. Props to all involved - band, crew, tapers/photographers, infoers. Hopefully I will be able to listen to this tomorrow.
-
I can\'t wait to listen to this show tonight. One of my boys has a ripping system and I believe he is having a party, so I am going to jam this show into his player and break the eject button.
:that: ;)

Yeah well this Puppetry was like no other I have ever heard. In the very middle of the song a major dance party busted out as The Breakfast started playing some ripping trancy bouncy dance grooves. Crazy I tellya!
Highlights (though the whole show was highlight worthy) were Puppetry, Tom Sawyer, Buquebus.

Is the Buquebus worthy of skipping right to it?
-
This show can be explained in one word SICK ! I was one of the 2 tapers there that night and my friend Ron\'s source is the torrent that is up right now.
I had a blast at this show this venue has the most incredible sound! and lighting that is mind blowing
The guys just tore it up from start to finish. Gotta love the Tom Sawyer!
Here are some more pics not the best but good enough. The lasers were messing around with my camera.

Ser Soul Ownage last night!!!!
Lots of face ownage last night, including us (Leith, Gabe, Giavanna, Chris) and nearly everyone who showed up. We just looked at each other in disbelief for half the show. Heard plenty of "this could be the best show ever" all night long! According to Gavin, it was the best show of the tour. Tim also mentioned that people were "eating it up". I feel bad for everyone who missed this show, everything about it was phenomenal: Lights (Ellis D got some major props from Leith!!), vocals, sound system, club room, no security (people packing bowls all show long) etc.
This show was the inverse of the typical Breakfast crowd, where the audience peaks in the first set then tapers off after the setbreak and throughout the second set. The show started with only a few people watching and continued to build audience momentum (alongside the outpour of energy from the band) all night long. By the Buquebus encore, the entire dance floor was shaking and raging. Gabe and I gave out about 70 samplers during the show and people could just not understand why we were giving away free music of such a powerful band. Having a crew of 5 solid .inforumers definitely helped initiate the tone for the crowd (example: getting everyone onboard for the Buquebus "hey hey hey" bounce, etc.). The effect of a few crazy .info dancers (Leith, Gabe) was almost like seeing the wave at stadium events, as the crazy screaming and dance moves were quickly imitated and seen rippling across the crowd.
Though the room was huge, it never seemed like it was empty (like we\'ve heard from those in attendance at Premier music hall). Must have been due to a receptive crowd throughout the room. Probably one of the best rooms the band has ever played in (someone on the PB crew mentioned that it completely blows Premier Music Hall out of the water).
Dave Peck definitely would have flipped out watching the band play on 6 large screen tvs situated around the bar.
-
Show looks great. Im gonna guess the sundance was for leith.
Im never gonna forget leith dancin his butt off to sundance at TT porters.

Great to hear that you had a good time last night. This final leg of the tour should be off the hook. I wish you all the best of times this weekend and beyond with the b\'fast. 200 or so people at this Nevada gig is a decent turnout. Rock On!
-
We all had to keep saying "This is just the first night" Really incredible show last night. I was on my knees in awe @ one point. Ser Soul Ownage last night!!!!
-
Good Things is one of the most beautiful songs written by anyone ever.

-
Good Things is one of the most beautiful songs written by anyone ever.
-
that, is awesome to hear. i can\'t wait to finally get some audio
-
OK first off this show was the best Breakfast show I have ever SEEN!!!!!! The venue was real nice w/ a great sound system and a lighting rig that would make CK5 jealous. The 1st set was a smoker w/ the addition of some shroomy chocolate the lighting was Awesome! Some of the best lighting I have seen @ anytime was during the end of Puppetry, when Greg had the back row of movers in different colors and bobbing to the music.
From Sundance on this show was EPIC! yes EPIC!!!!!!!!! A full review will be in order soon but suffice it to say this leg of the tour is starting off w/ a bang!!!!!!!!!
Oh Buquebus Encore ? That is a sign the guys are having fun. Tonight is going to be another crazy night and the guys are looking forward to raging it up in the City for 2 nights!!
-
fuckin sweet light rig, I\'d like to see more pics
im sure he had a field day
-
i talked to gavin today, he said 200 people or so were at the show, also, they let ellis use their $100,000 lighting gear so i\'d imagine that he had a ball with that.... all in all the report was that the show was *hot*!
-
so was there a crowd or what
-
Nice looking setlist, I bet they played a lot of notes!!! :rimshot:
-
good to hear
-
Once again these guys floored me from the begining to the end! Great night all around ended up wining $160 in 5 minutes at the black jack table! Grin
If you are thinking of not seeing these guys when they come to your town you should reconsider!
Here are some pics from tonight I took over 100 but the lasers were messing with my camera check out the last two pictures, wierd ****.
I had my first issue with my JB3 tonigt it just shut off 20+ minutes into the 1st set, I restarted it and it was good the rest of the night.
Thanks to Dave (davepeck) for getting me on the guest list we have a complete show for you thanks to Ron Harpin. +T

No theres a thread on taperssection.com. A few guys made it out to tape last night it seems and they posted the pics there. I figured since you have to login there I would repost them here.
