I should be there, and I think Todd and Robyn will too, and I\'m trying to convince a few others.
To all the haters(and there\'s more than I realized): I\'m not gonna sit here and say DBB is a crazy band with sick spacey jams. Musically they\'re not too crazy but they\'re ALOT of fun, just some down and dirty funk so come on out ya\'ll, we\'ll have a good time.
I mean COME ON you\'ll go see Billy Joel\'s daughter but not DBB? no logic at all in that

That kid was whipping his sweatshirt around @ Porters in Sept and freakin got me in the eye! I seriously thought Wah was gonna beat his face in that night.

The best was the head of security eyeballing the kid outside after the show....He was about 3 seconds away from smashing the **** out of the kid.....However, he has some relatively smart friends who escorted him away just in time....

That is him normally. He was slithering all over the stage at Toad\'s that night. Slimpickens and myself were laughing uncontrolablly at the way this kid was acting. If I saw this kid on a lot, I would definitely backstep him until I found the drugs he is on because he is out there.
As far as I know, we are using the Vernal Equinox poster. I sort of labeled it a "homecoming" gig when I first spoke to Phil a week ago.

But the best moment of the evening was when "ser face ownage kid" (you know the kid who was shirtless and up in Timmys grill at the Puppethouse and Porters last summer) actually got up on stage towards the end of the Jazz Is Dead set....As he stood up and raised both arms a security guard came whizzing by, grabbed him off the stage, and tossed him out the door....if you know or have seen this kid in action before, you can appreciate the humor in this....
:lol: i figured the kid was having some kind of epiphany or something that night at the puppet house..guess he has that kind of reaction at most shows..

Ugh........well i guess the run is just about halfway done or so and man oh man I miss the **** outta the band, Timmy Tour, and well the whole "scene".....
I am taking this break to explore some other music and my own mind.....
Classic Moment last week....last Thursday at Jazz Is Dead at Toads Place.....First off it was a good show with Jeff Pevar ripping the **** out of many guitars and playing some ser slide.....The Morning Dew was an emotional powerhouse and the highlight of the night...... But the best moment of the evening was when "ser face ownage kid" (you know the kid who was shirtless and up in Timmys grill at the Puppethouse and Porters last summer) actually got up on stage towards the end of the Jazz Is Dead set....As he stood up and raised both arms a security guard came whizzing by, grabbed him off the stage, and tossed him out the door....if you know or have seen this kid in action before, you can appreciate the humor in this....
Tea Leaf Green, Buckethead, and Alexa Joel are all coming to Toads during the bands absense and I think I will check them all out.....
