screw legal, is it possible. since when have you been worried if something was legal
well, there are two roads you can go by in the long run and I chose the raod less traveled by.

I hope that someone takes the sacrifice and saves the bootleg and puts in on dvd.
or is that illegal?
-
if I\'m going to pay we should be able to save the file somewhere, somehow? anybody out there know if that\'s possible, if so I\'m on it.
-
it says that the webcast is up, but the breakfast login has been blocked.
which means you now have to pay to view.
-
i just went to the site and it\'s down now. It was up last night though. doh! I was hoping to watch it again. Any chance anyone saved this with quicktime pro and could B and P some peeps?
-
i\'m gonna post the link on phishhook. do you want me to wait til i get home first?
-
The stream for this show is available... I can feel drastic change in the connection everytime somebody else starts to stream it, though.
-
Thanks for watching! The OnDemand webcast will be OnLine within the hour.
We can definitely trust that as a true statement. It still said that the show would be up "in a day or two" as of this morning.
way to be on top of your game, mr. kingsley.

omaha was really cool. greg ellis, adrian and myself wrote the setlist, dobson tried to help but he doesnt even know the names of the songs. we thought psygn > scheme would be the perfect way to end it. the place was sick, really nice people and headdie as hell. tonight tim and adrian ripped apart chalk dust torture with phix, and the dude let tim and adg take care of the jam. soooo sick. tim then did funky **** where the phix guitarist left the stage and stranded tim with the rest of fix, into 2001. its all recorded, so you will soon hear. i gotta go to bed !!!

but that dosn\'t sound resonable taking a PC on tour with ya!
thats what im doing.
im pulling the pc out of r2d2 and bringing it with me. its the size of a large shoebox. i have also have a flat screen monitor that folds up and i am about to order a keyboard thats the size of a small paperback book. they will fit in my carry on bag no problem.
-
wireless card for laptop or PC, I have an extra PC card i\'d send ya free of charge, but that dosn\'t sound resonable taking a PC on tour with ya!
-
OK so it\'s time to do some research. Chris do you need a landline to do this or will wireless work?
I will ask over @ Winston\'s and Al can ride over to the CT.
i dont have a wireless card for my computer. if you have one and the bar has wireless internet setup, or if the bar in a hot spot we can do that. i might be able to get one from my friend and bring it out, but id prefer not to have to buy anything else.
if i can plug in somewhere that would work the best, but it would have to be in a place that would also be a good spot to set up the camera.
Im sure all of us schmucks here could toss in for a card, theyre not too expensive. Id toss ya 5 bucks, now we need 9 others.

I really thought Iowa City would have been better but I guess it was mid-terms or something like that. Next time, because I hear a lot of positive things from IC.
:that:
Glad you had fun!!!!

omaha was a pretty incredible show, especially the 2nd set. probably the best of theirs that i have seen. saw them on tuesday in iowa city and although the crowd turnout was disappointing the band still ripped it up. hope you guys come back to IC, we wont make you regret it.
awesome jams. had the crowd movin and rocked my ass of
awesome jams. had the crowd movin and rocked my ass off
-
Phil,excellent plan.
i wanna go at mamalaka, leith and klout all at once.
i can hold my own
-
Wish I could\'ve seen this last night. Hopefully I\'ll get a chance to see Fitz\'s from the road... just please notify early for those (few) of us that DONT stay in front of the .info screen 24/7!
-
I\'ll take on all 3 of them.
-
^^uh oh sounds like trouble.......
of course anything where Freddie Wah is envolved=trouble
-
I think we should webcast freddie Wah vs. a team of Klout and Mama. Round 1 **** talking, Round 2 a full on fight, I think Freddie could take em both
-
Get it down!
-
i want this show now.
-
the webcast was a lot of fun watch.
i think i am going to webcast the last knitting factory show when the final edit is done. maybe next weekend if i have time to finish it. this one will be free and everyone can pick their own screen names.
i want to test it out because i will be capable of doing it live on the road if i can get internet access in any of the venues out west.
OK so it\'s time to do some research. Chris do you need a landline to do this or will wireless work?
I will ask over @ Winston\'s and Al can ride over to the CT. Yankee and ask. We caan also email the Temple bar and SoHo i guess. Wow that would be just the coolest thing Chris.
-
i would use a program for webcasting that people would have to download.
Does that mean we\'ll be able to communicate w/ the .info people during set breaks?
Glad to hear such a great response from Omaha. This show is motivating me to get a jump start on my next batch of 100 samplers.
-

^^^ Nice!!!!! would you do it here on .info?

 Sorry to have missed this!!! Looks like a killer how! Can\'t wait for the re-broadcast. Fuzebox threw down hard at JRoos though!!!
-
I just heard the begining of the drum intro (first 30sec) and went out for a smoke came back and they were full into Scheme
-
Yeah there was a drum intro but someone called Scheme right off the bat and then got fooled thinking it was just a drum solo and went for a smoke. Who was that?
-
2nd set is similar to 11.11.05. Gladys>Buquebus, Scheme. unreal!!!
this show looks sooo sick...!!
-
the drum intro was definitely just long enough to be noted as such.
-
not to be a stickler or anything, but i wanna say it went drums>tgsot>drums>tgsot, last night...
the opening drums were relatively longer than the normal...
-
funny...everyone had \'breakfast\' as a name too so u had to clarify who u were.. i usually put my name, leith used his initials and WAH used all caps..per usual
-
and I hope it\'s free and we can all have our own user names
I def think we overloaded their server, I would type sometimes and it wouldn\'t show up, or ten messages would all show up at once, def hard to keep track of what was going on in there, a great time though, just so happy to hear the tunes and "hang out" with all my buddies. It had all the intricasies of a BFast show bickering arguing name calling, and oh yeah the guys played some music
seriously though, this has to happen again......
-
It really was fun trying to type song calls faster then everyone else, bustin\' chops, and sharing in the fun of a Breakfast show . I ate 2 muffins and went through just abt an 1/8 of Sour Diesel. I cannot count the amount of this is awesome etc. posts I had but they were numerous.
You could see the crowd getting off and it just sounded and looked fantastic. I really really hope the next time this happens it is on a huge server w/ plenty of advertisement so more can join in the fun!
Def. keeping an eye out for the rebroadcast.
-
ok, after going back and seeing the time that it was posted, that\'s kinda what i figured. sucks, cause we weren\'t really doing much of anything last night, and could\'ve watched. d\'oh! oh well, i\'ll pay better attention for the re-broadcast.
-
why wasn\'t the web cast advertised??? we could\'ve gotten some folks from the next stops watching...
i got a call from jordan around 8pm EST last night and immediately posted it. that was the first anyone had heard of it, and it was only the 3rd webcast the venue has done, so it\'s new for them too..
-
I hope that it is recasted. I really want to hear that second set and I can not wait for the tape to return from tour.
.
: i guess you\'ll still be able to view the show in its entirety in a couple of days so check back for this crunchy omaha show!!!! :disco:
-
it looks/ seems like it wasnt a known thing until the day of. the guys in the band and Gavin had no idea what was goin on when they walked over to the camera.. i called Ron during setbreak, he answered and i told him to get his ass over there (after commin up with a sick setlist) and give some love to the web watchers. deffinatley on the lookout for rewatching this..
-
****!
JKing, I believe the webcast was announced at the last minute. I\'m not even sure the band knew about it.
I hope that it is recasted. I really want to hear that second set and I can not wait for the tape to return from tour.
Did any know if there were any tapers outside of Gaboo.
-
why wasn\'t the web cast advertised??? we could\'ve gotten some folks from the next stops watching...
that being said, i am SO GLAD for a decent turnout (first non-week/school night they\'ve played, which probably has a lot to do with it) and that the boys got to play in front of the type of crowd theyre used to! the setlist looks wicked, can\'t wait to hear it!
-
Dude wait until you hear it. Sick sick ****.
:that:
-
Yeah Joe that 2nd set was incredible. SCA was fuckingunreal!!!!!!!!!! Dude wait until you hear it. Sick sick ****.
-
Holy **** that has to be one of the greatest second sets in the history of The Breakfast..... "GOOD TO YOUR EARHOLE"!! HOLY ****!!! They haven\'t played that song in YEARS. Last time I think was during the Melting of the Minds tour, and a little after. **** YEAH!!
-
last nights show proves why Psygn is the best song this band has written in years.
-
I was wondering what "hip-hop" meant also.
-
scheme anyone?
-
Wow, what a set list. Happy to see they had a good night...lucky omahaians and high speed conectionizers.
-
\'Hip-Hop\'? anyone?
-
bravo, boys, bravo.
I am glad there was a solid turnout. That\'s the way all these shows need to be. Nice to know things seem to be heading in the right direction.
Nice review Leith!
So pissed I missed the live webcast last night.
Gladys>Buquebus=wet dream

who woulda thought nebraska would be so ragin!
i\'m tired of people rippin on nebraska!! OMAHA IS SICK, I WILL NEVER STOP REPPING NEBRASKA OR OMAHA! I **** LOVE IT THERE! i mean yeah it does suck living/growing up there but there are a lot of good qualities about the place such as 1) the city is growing exponentially..i/my fam doesnt live there anymore and everytime i return theres something new. 2) there is a heady scene b/c there actually are heady nugs, some of the best and dankest weed ive ever smoked was from omaha (compared to nugs sold in boston, sad sad deal, but i get by and i get high, andi cant complain too much)... so this means 3) theres a good following of folks who like heady music, but sadly, omaha is always shafted in the music scene. its like every couple of months when someone cool shows up, so theres always good anticipation for when these bands come (example: the breakfast). all of these things hold true to omaha, maybe even lincoln. i cant say the rest for anything past lincoln...where life= endless stretches of farms/cows/boringness...
-

-
Wasn\'t there a Good to your Earhole after Buquebus? I do believe so.
-

just spoke on the phone w/ the collective kids and the guy who started http://www.omtunes.com : i guess you\'ll still be able to view the show in its entirety in a couple of days so check back for this crunchy omaha show!!!! :disco:
PS: there were about 150 people there and everyone had a fantabulous time, including the band! my friend ando told me the band were a little down and out when they came in this morning b/c of the last couple of days and were feeling iffy about tonights show, but luckily omaha brought it out tonight and **** LOVED the breakfast! i have a bunch of friends who were also iffy about the band b/c they didnt know who they were or what they sounded like, but after a lot of forcing and telling them to just go check them out, they went and trust me, they were BLOWN away!!! even the kids who work at the pizza shoppe/collective said the band melted their faces during soundcheck! so, all in all- i\'m am SOOOOO HAPPY that all parties involved (band + new omaha fans) had a great time (BREAFKAST WAS ILLLLLL ON THE WEBCAST!) and i\'m thinking omaha will most definately be a new tour stop for the band, if not at the ps collective but at some of the other venues in the "heartland".
-
That was alot of fun other then Wah trying to throw me under the bus w/ Ellis. Wah You suck ! ;)
It was fun being able to type and get a verbal response.
I may write a review but if i do not that SCA was unfuckingbelievable and Psygn was even sicker!
also I THOUGHT ELLIS DID A GOOD JOB TONITE AND EVEN HAD SOME SICK LOOKS THAT MADE ME GO OOOH NIIIIICE!
Fun chatting w/ everyone during the show!
-
Well that was down right nasty!!
Nice to have a little methodone to settle the hunger for a little while.......
closest thing to actually going to the show, chatting smoking tunes, even talked to the guys during setbreak, great ****!!
-
that was fun to watch. Awesome show. it was in real time so during set break we got to hear from/ say whats up to them. good stuff
-
very pleasantly surprised to come home to a breakfast webcast. diggin\' this scheme too.... can we have this *every* night on this tour, pretty please?
-
this sucks, my internet connection (er... my neighbor\'s wireless connection) is bad so all i get is .5 second snippets and no video....
-
this webcast is sooooo ill, if i cant be in omaha noodle dancing w/ all of my buddies there, then this will have to do!
-
HOLY ****!!! BUQUEBUS ADRIAN REDICUFUCKINGTHANKUVERYMUCHLOUS...damn baby...
