Ripping jams, decent vocals, very fun band to check out live.
Their set opening for The Breakfast last night was sick!
-

Location: The Living Room
Date/Time: Tuesday April 18, 2006
Time: 8:00pm - 1:00am
Battle of the Bands
there are a couple other places you could check out
well that blows. maybe they should play the competition, win the night, and not show up for the next round. Not sure where else to reccommend. Century is booked, Tazza is usually open mic jazz jam somethingorother night on Tuesday, that giza place in olneyville (are they even still open?), other than that alot of places dont have live music on a Tuesday (then again I dont get out much), oh well.

if youre from fort collins, do you ever play at the mish? that place is awesomely beautiful
-

the last one went a little sour, it was like 3 1/2 weeks after they had last played, their agent at the time needed to fill the date, which I said OK, it was the same deal as usual, but the crowd was about 1/2 the normal size, being that it was finals week, band wasnt happy with the turnout, and never came back.
yea right phil!
dont lie!
the pub ripped them off!
it wasnt a shitty turn out or finals week or a month after the last gig!
we jipped those suckers good!
-
yup yup Orooni & Urban Fetch 4/19 Kenny\'s Castaways, 157 Bleeker St.
i\'ll be there. will you be there?
also, while we\'re shamelessly self promoting AND talking about oneonta...
3/31 Urban Fetch at General Clintons Pub, Oneonta, NY.
-
Wah knows how much it raged in O-twiz, he was there one night, me and him were hassling this retard who refused to pay the cover, so he argued with us for like an hour, and we wouldnt let him in, then we made him pay $1 for the last 5 min of the show....
you just couldn\'t talk to that guy........ Wasn\'t havin it.....
The first time the breakfast played at the pub, there was an after party that started at our house before we even loaded the band out of the bar, before I even got home, then I roll in and there is a 60 lb Nitrous tank 5 30 racks of Busch, about 70 kids in our house and 2 college professors, a whole slew of kids jammin in the jam room. One teacher was jammin with us while the 5 footer was goin round. Then we jammed til like 5am, it was sweet.
Great fuckin night, crazy party!!

Wah knows how much it raged in O-twiz, .
I had a great weekend in Oneonta back in 2000. It was pretty insane. Every underager was really drunk at the bars/dancing on the pool tables. I don\'t ever remember getting so much attention from the ladies in a single weekend.

I booked all the breakfast shows there, as well as promoted, provided sound, provided lodging and did the door (except for the last one where Dobz was in Australia, where I did sound) the last one went a little sour, it was like 3 1/2 weeks after they had last played, their agent at the time needed to fill the date, which I said OK, it was the same deal as usual, but the crowd was about 1/2 the normal size, being that it was finals week, band wasnt happy with the turnout, and never came back.

It\'s called motivation...... and I have large Kahuna\'s...... Its about dropping everything, and playing music, going on the road etc.... Its also a DIY band, we want to know first hand, that everything gets done. Its kinda funny to see our living room with 40 large promo envelopes, upwards of 10,000 1/4 sheet flyers and about 1,000 posters..... Do you know how long it took to write each venue on each poster we sent out......tedious, but its got to be done. We also run our own booking agency out of Fort Collins CO, we book a lot of local bands in the mountains as well as 3 other national acts (one from chicago and one from Iowa) and use it all to our advantage... I have tons of East coast contacts from Rezi. Our bassist has tons of Chicago and mid west contacts. Our keys and Drummer are from Ohio and also have a lot of mid west contacts. Pretty much take 4 people who were in charge of their former bands, and put them together. There is tons of motivation and we all wanna play music for a living. So we practice, work for the business, and go on the road, and it RULES!!!! So come check it out you wont be disappointed.
also, I am gonna call the Living Room Today
-
i would, no problem. they cleaned the hell out of that place and got all new sound equipment and fixed the bathrooms. they totally **** down on underaged drinking and blantant drug use as well, i saw Reid and AOD there a month ago, it was pretty cool.
I tried telling you guys it really isn\'t that bad anymore. i still hate that freak\'n pole in the middle of the stage.
