Title: DMB and J5 track. Think it will sound good?
Post by: Wolfman on February 23, 2006, 06:47:58 pm
Holy cow...J5 still exists!  But with just 2.5 albums in 7 years and virtually no touring, I can say that my love affair with J5 has ended.  (At this point Dave and I can probably do a tighter Quality Control than they can.)  Still love the stuff that\'s out, but not flaunting the colors anymore.  To be honest, I couldn\'t care less about doing 1 song with DMB.

actually, the more i think about it, i\'m probably dreaming about the whole "carter laying down beats" thing.. it\'ll probably be more of a \'song\' like Thin Line...

I can\'t decide if it will be great or atrocious.

What Dave said... Power in #s does seem like forever ago... and it seemed like it took Power in #s forever to come out.

i suppose it\'ll sound good if you\'re a fan of either.  i\'m not, so i doubt it\'d do much for me.

Jurassic 5 has confirmed that the Dave Matthews Band will appear on its forthcoming studio album, due in stores later this year. The DMB will join J5 on the track ?Work it Out,? marking the first known studio collaboration between the longtime friends. Jurassic 5 has opened for the Dave Matthews Band on several occasions including a series of dates on 2004?s Vote for Change tour. In addition, Matthews has announced that he will perform a rare solo show on February 28 at London?s King?s College Student Union.
