I waited til after this weekend to vote, and I vote Honey Butter. My kinda tune, right there. Nothing against Psygn, Good Things, Eppy 3. After reading thru the lyrics just now, I stand by my vote.
REALLY? i would have thought after reading the lyrics to HB you would have run in the other direction..
nah, thats right up my alley. fits along the lines of gladys pimp, score or dig. i dig me some cheesey love tunes.

honey butter was a fantastic set II opener, hence my voting for it, i knew the song would grow on me more after hearing it again. i do have to admit i was a bit disappointed that i didn\'t hear psygn in northampton, but to be honest, i\'m glad they are rationing their new songs, not over or underplaying anything. "BALANCE! BALANCE! BALANCE!"

Psygn has to be my favorite also. It just has a dark side to it that has the ability to go where no other song has gone before.
Not a fan of Honey Butter as of right now. Just doesn\'t hook me. Like Episode 3 very much but haven\'t seen too much done to it. Good Things is a good thing.
Probably should of held of too before I opened my mouth.

:wave: def. a tough call, but the places I\'ve journeyed to during many a Psygn jams makes the answer obvious.
I like how it is being thrown around in between other songs at times, and seems like the band is extremely familiar and comfortable in thier improv when it comes to this tune.

Was a tough call between Ep 3 and Psygn. At the moment I\'m saying Ep 3 by a hair, but may well change my mind the more I hear these tunes.
BTW, I think that makes my 1000th post - don\'t know where the time has gone! :)

Went Eppy III. Hate the name "Honey Butter" but like the song. The Slip has a song called "Honey Melon" and I have always referred to that song as the quintessential hippie-jamband song name. That\'s all I can think of when I hear Honey Butter. Of course, every SCI song could also be the quintessential hippie song, but that\'s not what this thread\'s about now is it?

i went Psygn even though a month ago i wouldve gone with Ep.3 -- im a huge fan of the melody in Psygn, it does sound very Beatles but clearly Breakfast and its one of those tunes that pours out color... i guess gold to be specific. yeah, its gold.
and the jam, whaaaa?? fuckin whacky, who knows where theyll take it in the future, im personally scared.

a few things actually. i need to get in touch with Dave P. its missing a track and the tracking is off. recording is real good though. i wanna see if Dasve and put the peice in that is missing or if he wants to matix the 2 sources together. pretty sure Dobs recorded it too....
