Looking at Crystal Bay\'s calendar, it appears that well-known acts play there around Breakfast time (Umphrey\'s, Robert Walter, G Love, Delta Nove/Motet). Hopefully this place is a regular draw for those in Sierra country.

How do we promote this show?
I\'m sure there are plenty of heady ski bums in the Tahoe area, but how can they be rounded up for the Breakfast in Crystal Bay?
I have been trying to figure this out that last few days. I am in the process of talking to some of the fine folks that make up the HGMN. There are members throughout the country and I have been in talks with a few that live in such region for some advice and places to go.

yo I\'ll be out west the last week of march and first 2 weeks of april. First around Grand Canyon for a week and then San Fran for two weeks, with at least one long weekend in LA. Hopefully I can see multiple breakfast shows. If there is a SF or LA (or maybe Arizona) show I will definitely be there!!!
Sounds like you\'ll be out west at the perfect time!!
I\'m hoping to make it to 5+ shows out here, starting with the Crystal Bay Casino.
I don\'t think they have any hotel rooms at the casino, that would be too convenient for the party revelers.

The agency is trying to finalize everything so we can announce the tour to the jam sites, etc.
Question for the forum participants: Who sees him/herself embarking on a western Breakfast tour?
I am definately down for a western breakfast tour, just gonna need some east coast serheads to join me...

Well...that wasn\'t really leakage, was it. I just confirmed what you all saw on Jambase.
Now if I ADDED to that it would be leakage.
I\'ll say this for you west coasters.....The gig in question is on the way OUT. Plan accordingly.
Yeah I kinda figured. If they run the usual route it will go Flagstaff>Tempe> SD>LA>SF>NV Hopefully a Santa Barbara date on the way up to SF.
Would love to see a Knitting Factory AND a 14 Below date for LA but that is unlikely this time around. Maybe in the Fall?

Its going to be a very comprehensive tour that should get them to most of the places that need attention accept the South, .
Great. Thanks... for nothing! lol

I am willing (and hoping) to take a whole week off from work if enough shows are booked out here. I\'d like to see shows in S.F., L.A., S.D., Nevada and possibly other western states if I can find the time to do so.
The only potential snag I foresee is my work partner leaving around March for a new job. My office is paying year-end bonuses in the late winter and he stands to collect a five-figure check, something he wouldn\'t relinquish before moving on to a new job. This could be the worst-case-scenario that ruins my Breakfast tour as I\'d have to stick around and do tons of work.

I think you are safe planning at least a week for tour.
Who cares what your partner is gonna do? Just plan for the tour.
I know I\'m blocking out 2 weeks for the tour just in case.
New car needs some Breakfast miles.

Thank you so much for the confirmation(as it is not on the Casino\'s website).
I can now start generating some buzz.
-
First off the date is real. You can probably figure out a lot of the rest of the tour by looking at the band\'s history. Its going to be a very comprehensive tour that should get them to most of the places that need attention accept the South, which will be a separate run.

Can\'t wait to see what other dates will be confirmed.

for those (like me) who were wondering, this place is further away from Vegas than East Haven, CT. :(
 On the bright side Dave, there at least 2+ other casinos in the same town/area, call it mini-Reno if you want. . . My spring break is the week beforehand, so I need more dates for the prior-weekend, and I may travel. Otherwise, I may have to head to snoe.down.

I\'m there! Only 3 hours away. Once the other dates are announced, I\'m making my additions to the vacation calendar.
Doughboy is definitely going to be in one of those sets.

If this is SER I am soooooo there. Oh it has been to long since I travelled for some Bfast!

Venue leaking yet to be confirmed info!!!!
I could see Mr. Anderson making an appearance: Day of skiing (venue is right on Tahoe/near resorts) > an evening of Sierra Nevada ales > party down with the Doughboys!
