the quality level is because it is meant to be watched on an ipod video, not full screen on your pc, or on your TV..
I know...it\'s too expensive.
It\'s 23.88 for the crappy video tracks.. IT cost 26.99 from amazon. Just doesn\'t add up.

I actaully don\'t mind a single camera from straight away, some of the proshot **** gives me a headache with all the switches and zooms and Trey face-shots. It seems VERY expensive though. I cannot wait until the tour this year.
I didn\'t mind the video being shot from the audience...I kinda liked it actually. It felt like being there. The quality of the video was crappy for the price I thought. Way too many artifacts. Should have been free, then I would have watched it once, thought the video was crappy and deleted it.

Word on the street is there will be a tour this year.
According to some folks on the tapperssection this comes directly from fishman
That\'s what we are hearing. So maybe the rumors about MSG and Philly are true. I guess we just wait this one out.

This is being released because Fishman and Page don\'t want to wait in the unemployment lines anymore.

-
These will find there way onto the bootleg market soon enough.
-
$1.99 song, thats like at least $40 per show.
-
just got my 60gb video, so i don\'t mind it,
you just couldnt let ron have that one, could you :rolleyes2
-
nice.
bout time.

it works fine in quicktime/itunes, which is pretty much what it was made for.. just finished downloading.. watching now..
i think it\'s a great idea, though i wish they didn\'t make it so ipod-specific.. just got my 60gb video, so i don\'t mind it, but i\'d like to have the option watch it on the xbox on the big screen without having it look like ****..
i also hope they bag the strict $1.99/song thing and start offering discounts on full shows..

Funny that they released this on the same day I finally saw the Anniversay montage and thought to myself, "wow, that\'s some amazing footage. I wonder when live phish video will come out?"
on another note a lot of people online, including myself can\'t play the mp4 video file. Dave do you have any suggestions?
Forgot to add something. Before you decide on buying these files let me just point out that they did preview the video files on AOL or something and the quality was pretty poor. The video as stated is one camera, which seems to be in front of sound. So don\'t expect Live at Vegas or Bittersweet footage!!

Happy New Year from LivePhish.com!
We\'re kicking off 2006 with the launch of Live Phish Video. Our first video release is from Phish\'s legendary 1995 New Year\'s Eve concert at Madison Square Garden, also available as full concert audio downloads and on CD from Phish Dry Goods.
To celebrate the launch of the video download service, Phish is offering a New Year\'s gift in the form of a free video download of their New Year\'s countdown complete with their Gamehendge Time Phactory, the traditional "Auld Lang Syne" and a jaw-dropping rendition of the band\'s classic "Weekapaug Groove." The free download will be available until January 15. Live Phish Videos are offered song by song for $1.99 each and are compatible with Apple\'s popular iPod video player as well as all PC and Mac video players. The New Year\'s Eve 1995 video is from a single-camera archival source, but the band intends to release a wide variety of video from myriad sources and eras. "This is a chance to share incredible material directly with fans that might otherwise never see the light of day in a more traditional distribution scheme," says band archivist, Kevin Shapiro.
The following video tracks are available now. Please note that Chalk Dust Torture and Punch You In The Eye will be available on 1/20. We hope to make the cover songs available soon.
