Agreed. But...I\'m not one to talk, as I\'m one of very few type written words.
-
one of the moderators should go to all the setlist threads and cut and paste. boom problem solved
No the problem would still exist.

Last show reviewed 10/28/07.
NO REVIEWS OF RON\'S LAST SHOW, NO REVIEWS OF CHRIS\' FIRST SHOW.
Not one review and there has been all sorts of raving posts about the shows lately but not one review in the appropriate section.
Dave doesn\'t even care as there is no 2008 section yet.
end of rant. peace

Thanks so much... SSRI\'s and Benzos did a real number on me....

i sent u a pm a few days, ago... your bin must be full. i have only selective memory. thanks for the hotmail addy, I didnt have that one.
?????????
Selective and creative memory. You never sent me a PM. My bin is never full. That email address has been posted over a dozen times in at least 4 different threads, is on the front page of every issue of Breakfast Digest, and was also included in Rujah\'s Personal Submitting Instructions Volumes 1-3.

I\'ve been working on reviews for my last few BReakfast shows, and I even got some ideas for the upcoming digest, although I have yet to hear word from Wolfman yet.......??????/
What are you talking about? I have told you privately 3 times and announced publicly at least 12 times to send whatever you write to breakfastdigest@hotmail.com You have not contacted me regarding any Breakfast Digest matter in 3 months, so what exactly are you waiting for me to tell you? This is the third time you have posted that you are working on stuff, yet you have never submitted everything. Here, I will write a piece right now. It\'s called:
Rujah\'s Personal Submitting Instructions Volume Four
Write anything you want and send it to breakfastdigest@hotmail.com[/COLOR]
If your stories are as confounding as your posts, you\'ll have a permanent place on the cover.
-
All of my reviews were deleted :(
-
Rujah I don\'t think you need to hear from Seth... finish whatever your idea is and then send it to him.

Bump for a needed thread.
Last show reviewed was UAC III.
I would review the last 2 shows I saw EC>UAC III if I could really put into words my whole experience. It has been 2 months and I still am really unsure just what happened. When I do I will submit something.
Anyway to the new members, you all feel free to post reviews.
We welcome the fresh perspectives

An hour or more to write a review?
R U SER?
What do you have to wait in line in NH for time on the village computer or what?
I\'ll bet Gencs. spends an hour + on his thorough reviews. If you want to read a review, go look at Wolfman\'s 17(?) page review from spring tour 2002. He probably spent a day working on that monster.
Sallyalli\'s nearest movie theater is 45 minutes away. The local library would be lucky to have a single computer terminal.

Alright, so I finally wrote a review for 11.11.05. I had been meaning to for awhile. and HOLY ****-- the board for Wheel Of Fortune JUST NOW was Madison Wisconsin!! that was **** up!
anyways, its there. Figured the best show I\'ve ever been to (at this point) deserves a review, this thread confirmed I was being a jack-ass slack-pants.

:point:I\'ll turn Rollingstone back into a quality piece of literature
****\'s gettin\' deep :goes to put on waders:
-
I completely forgot we had a review section. Tell ya what... send The Breakfast back to Iowa City a.s.a.p. and I\'ll post a killer review. As a matter of fact, the review will be so incredible don\'t be surprised if the next time you see me I\'m backstage with Phil and friends pulling interviews for Rollingstone... not only that, but while am at it, I\'ll turn Rollingstone back into a quality piece of literature .
I agree, we can easily start to place our reviews into both sections of the site.
-
p.s. You better be writting some nice long ones when you come out leith.
See you soon :)
agreed! ;)
-
stevie g says it took him 3 hours to write a review. i can\'t rememeber which one but that\'s a long time
2.5 hours of that is wiping up sweat from the keyboard.
Even reliving the show he gets wet.

reviews usually take an hour or more to write. some of us just like to re cap the show a bit, point out highlights and discuss the setlist briefly. that\'s what the food for thought thread is for right ?? if you wanted to talk about the show thoroughly, from before it starts to after it ends, then the review section should be used.
Not everyone has time to write reviews, good ones anywho. It do agree that if you just saw a killer show and you happen to have an hour or so to spare...sit down and share the wealth.

Pathetic??
That Wasnt Very Nice...

leith copy and paste my review from the seracuse thread. Then we can both say we did our part and move on to more important issues.... like EC IN T-MINUS 5 DAYS!!!! :D
-

i always think that i will end up writing a review on anticipated sick shows but never do..at some point i will, but normally the few days after a ridiculous show i can\'t talk about it-not that i can\'t remember but i really can\'t put the review into words. i meant to after moedown but was so fried it didn\'t work out.
-
I agree, and I haven\'t contributed much on my own. I actually had a conversation w/ a good friend recently about the lack of solid post show reviews on the moe. PT board, so I\'ll try to do what I\'ve been doing there here as well.
I dunno if I should go back and review some of the key shows I\'ve seen as of recently or just start fresh w/ upcoming shows. I dunno, there\'s something about hopping on the comp late night/early the next morning to get all your thoughts out on the show that you miss out on waiting a couple months or so.
^Totally but you know what may work?
A dose of Radio Joe can revive memories fairly vividly for me. Try that.
-
I suck at writing reviews. Everytime I think about writing one it gets pushed back.
I agree, that the review section should be used more, as to entice the n00bies to get a taste of what a b\'fast show is all about.

THIS IS A CONSTRUCTIVE THREAD.
PLS TRY AND STAY ON SUBJECT. THANK YOU.
8 Bfast shows in Oct. Only one reviewed.
6 Bfast shows in Nov. None reviewed.
I know some people give an overview of their night or make comments in setlist threads.
I just think we can use this section a little better to describe the wonderful happenings that are called Breakfast shows.
I love reading reviews and I can\'t be the only one.
I also think it would be nice for newbies to be able to get a glimpse of what they may have only heard on disc w/o wading through threads which are frequently hijacked.
