any chance they will be playing strangecreek this year in may as well?
-
This is a great announcement to start the new year with. 2006 has a lot of promise for the Breakfast.
-
Regarding Rounders...sorry wrong ones...the TN ones look great though. The NY boys are some old friends and will probably play during the late Sunday when the family jams and bbq\'s get going.
Lots of other fun stuff still coming for Folkfest...added Ryan Montbleau and Peter Prince yesterday.

Thanks for all the kind words about the Sterling Stage. Something tells me this year is going to be doubly sick....stay tuned for more.

What she said....
If The Breakfast get booked at Bonnaroo ill go back but only if.
1) VIP tix
2) Fly in to TN (conditional)
3) Hotel room local (this was soooo key at the roo i did)
4) Have RV waiting for me in TN or I might be perusaded to drive it but its a long way

^i think the breakfast might be one of the few bands i might ever go back to bonnaroo for. anyone who did not attend a bonnaroo fest must know that it is a grueling couple of days that seriously kick your ass...but if the breakfast is on the bill...we\'ll see what happens..
-
Bonnaroo, I believe is a must this year. They need to get on that bill, not sure how it works though.
Is Bonnaroo an invite festival or one that you can put your name in for?
never been to bonnaroo so if the breakfast were to get on this bill i would definately be down for treking out to see them. hopefully this would just be a stop on the all-out summer 2006 tour.

the rounders = ser honkeytonkabilly
a little bit too country at times, but they definitely rock it out as well. the bass player manhandles a stand-up... have seen him pick it up & play it like a guitar mid-song. a tpalms sit in would be awesome... funky bill style.

The boys definitely need more festival appearances: moe.down and 10,000 Lakes seem to have done some good. Will there be a Bonnaroo this year, and if so, are management making enquiries? Also, what about High Sierra?
-
Definitely making it.
-
the festival itself was nothing spectacular, but the breakfast\'s show there last year was my favorite out of the three day run through beardslee>sterling>strangecreek. definitely one of the best breakfast performances i have seen to date ( not taped though  )
Thats saying something because the show at Beardslee on 2005-05-27 is 1 of my favorites from this past year

Never been there but this was taken from their website
"The Sterling Stage Kampitheater is a venue like no other. Beautiful evergreens create a cozy campground and backdrop for the incredible music that takes place on 3 unique stages. A great place to enjoy with old friends and a fun place to meet new ones . The main stage can be seen from most campsites, grills and coolers are permitted (no glass, dogs, or fireworks). The Sterling Stage is nestled in picturesque upstate NY near Lake Ontario and other great tourists stops."
The dates are very close to when Wormtown does StrangeCreek sp hopefully I can do both
-
is the breakfast the main headliner? anyways this is in NY right? i will def. be hitting this up as long as I am able to drive and not working.
-
last year the band killed it. the sound at that place is amazing
