Title: songs left off midwest run....

Bottom line is this:  Love Lake would be a great addition to a setlist.  It\'s different than a lot of the stuff the band currently plays, plus it is set up for jamming.

PFFFFFFT...;)  I guess we\'ll agree to disagree then, but Vera St. is still good.

Vera Street rules, not everything has to be "RAGING!"...dynamics in a show are more powerful than any solo.

dynamics are great, vera st. is horse ****.

honestly, the band -- now as a powerful unit -- would make this song sound great. this is the reason i have a hard time listening to the guys in \'01 and before, its the timmy show. although that still is good enough, okay and adrian definitely holds his own still, but they dont move along nearly as powerful as they do now. if they played this song tomorrow itd be crazy, i agree. waaaaaay better than a \'love song\' like vera st. its cool, i like it. khhhhhchssshhhhhhhhhhhh. love lake in \'06. do it.

I really don\'t have a favorite version of Love Lake, though I suppose you could check out the 5-5-01 version since it was broadcasted last week.

i have to listen to love lake again, i did 3 times the first time i downloaded it, and never once \'\'\'\'\'really\'\'\'\'\' felt it. there has to be something going on here, though.

Which version did you hear?

I do really like the song, though there is also a nostalgia factor which isn\'t rendered in your sentiment.

after the wah ser breakfast show from this past thursday,i really strongly believe that lovelake is meant to be busted out again.maybe a little work on the ending, but other than that its a beautiful tune

It\'s a nice change of pace after they obliterate every other song in the setlist.

Besides, how would you rather slow it down, with Question Mark and the Mind or Love Lake?  Question Mark = weak, I\'m not sure why so many people sweat it while Love Lake sits idle.

what jam were we contemplating a segue into Lit Ryan? i think it mightve been the HLH > Drunk Monk Bar.

I believe so... I think I convinced myself that Lit would get played after every song though.

off the top of my head:

Good Things- thats a surprise
Vera St.- not a surprise, haven\'t heard that one in a ser while
Dimension 5- underrated tune, should\'ve got tossed in the mix.
Lit- not surprised really, but a disappointment, thats always a favorite of mine.
Question Mark- could\'ve been worked in, but oh well.
Merge- was it played?  i\'d have to double check.  there\'s always next time, thankfully.

also the more obvious ones:

Garcian Fishbowl
Frankly Po Zest
Food For Thought-  they\'re not ready for this one just yet, give \'em time and maybe they can handle something this ser.

WHO is not ready? wanna\' fight?

of all of them FFT was a disappointment not being heard, Lit wouldve been wonderful too. what jam were we contemplating a segue into Lit Ryan? i think it mightve been the HLH > Drunk Monk Bar.

the only reason i wish i wouldve made the trip to Cabooze was the Escher\'s.. that song makes everything in life seem interesting. i love it.

Yep, I asked Jorden to toss Lit into the IC show but they didn\'t even have time for an encore.

Would have loved to see all three of these, Garcian\'s always a quick tag that could have been fit in, and a little reminder of how heavily influenced Tim is with Zappa\'s work could have done Wisco some good.
As far as food goes they played it the last two times in Iowa so I wasn\'t expecting to hear it by the time the fourth show rolled around. (Anywhere else would have been cool though)
