Gotcha my man. It's just my OCD coming through!
Completely understandable, it?s hard to tell who is right. Sometimes recordings get dated wrong too. There?s a few thing I?ve got to try and circle back to edit and add. I?ve been consumed with following the Tim streams recently. I?ll try and do some clean up soon.

I?d have to check with DavePeck on this one. He was pretty meticulous back in the day when he used to update the site. I don?t doubt that you?re intuitions are correct, but i tend not to mess with stuff that he input from the days of old.

I'm not sure exactly who the admins are (Don?) but just a small correction, I think this should be 2005-11-09, right? Minnesota was on 11/10 and then so on. The archive lists it as 11/09 also.
I don't have a lot to do right now, ya think?

Tom Sawyer again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
As far as the crowd\'s reaction, i think everyone was very impressed with the music, but the vocals probly fell short-- they were hard to hear in the small bar. i couldnt make out most words.
I would agree w/ your comment about the vocals...the people I was with all mentioned it. It seemed that the overall volume was LOUD, but the vocals did indeed need adjustment. The jams were fabulous though!!
I enjoyed this round in Chitown over the last time then they played at the Elbow Room...
-
i love that move.

Sigh...sad I missed it, but Nick and Jenny, I\'m glad you had a good time. :)

it really was incredible. still the whole time i wasnt sure what song i was hearing but i knew whatever it was it was a goddamn winner. i hope i get to hear this show, not sure if the recording would be that good because the place was so cluttered, itd probly be real heavy on bass. jordan was hard to hear at times too. i noticed he had new nikes on and i asked him where the new shoe dance was, adrian was like, "on that fuckin stage?!"
-
was the Psygn jam epic, per usual?
-
id say the show had a much better feel this time around. you could tell they made the decision to play a much smaller place with the turnout last april being so shitty and it had to have worked to their advantage. spirits were definitely high, you could see it after the show. i didnt see any mic stands up but i thought i saw someone running a recorder, does that work for sbd\'s?? no mics? i dont know, i hope it was recorded.

no after-party. this weekend should be different. the guys are just so fuckin cool, its great how humble they are. as for tim on lead dancer, my buddy said it looked like he was pulling off some kind of very difficult new kids on the block moves. my buddy said hes tried to do it before but couldnt. he was impressed.

Gordo,
Would you say there return to Chicago was better then the last trip? Specifically in terms of people attending. I thought I remember the crowd being near 30 last time.
Small venue. Great setlist.
Any tapers?
-
was there an after-party, if so how was it?
-
whose got my heady plane ticket to Iowa City?
-
i kept asking people if they were G-Spon, obviously never asked her
hee hee - I like G-Spon!! Nice to meet you and thanks for the shot - I couldn\'t pass up the offer ;)
Last night was a freakin\' blast, and was great to boogie in Chicago with such great people. Wow - I knew half the songs, but they ceratinly threw in some great segues and I left their show impressed, yet again.
Tonight\'s my night off, then we\'ll see how rowdy we can get at the Madison and Iowa City shows. woo hoo!
-
timmy-p as lead dancer
rotfl Fuckin\' goof ball!!!
-
Did you gauge the sentiment of the crowd?
I\'m hoping they were as impressed as you were.
-
the Phaddy segues were absolutely perfect. going into ATSD was sick, first time ive heard it live.
Dear god, I can\'t even think when I could have honnestly uttered these words last. 98? 99? :P
-
Looks good on bandwidth (instead of "on paper"... I\'m so clever)
-
sounds like a good time..

awwwww ****.. last night was reeediculous. hell of a good time in chi-town. i had a little over 3 hours of delays at LAX and was sweating making the show on time. ended up touching down at o\'hare at about 9:00, got home at about 10:00, walked in at the end of CMSS at 11:12. was stoked to hear it was only the first tune i missed. a few quick notes:
Gravity was possibly the best version ive ever heard, the first jam took a totally new face for awhile and got faster than most. it was crazy, especially with the homeless guy in the window outside (who later introduced himself as Cornbread) playing along with adrain and cracking up showing his big-ass toof-less smile. btw, there was definitely a jam leading in to gravity.
the Phaddy segues were absolutely perfect. going into ATSD was sick, first time ive heard it live. and then LDZ **** ripped straight through and dropped so nice back into the "na na, na na na na\'s" of Phaddy. place was going crazy.
Psygn is a hell of a tune, ive only heard it once through a stream so i didnt recognize it and once again thought it was a Beatles cover at first. great song.
the highlight of the night was no doubt Episode 3. bezerker asked me if ive heard it yet, i said no, and about 5 minutes later tim said, "here\'s a new one." un-****-real. i dont know what else to say about it, everything i hoped to hear and then some. such a cool chord progression that runs.. the blues.. the story.. the rips.. straight nasty.
score encore was great. first time ive heard it live. short but so sweet, got the place a bit sweatier before leaving.. bailamos.
al, to answer your question, when the place was packed to its peak there were approx. 65 heads, i counted but didnt look in the bathrooms. the tonic room was extremely small so it felt like it was a full house.
oh, ellis-d does a great job on lights. like i said the place was small and im sure he likes a little more room to let em breathe but i was impressed.
bought adrian a be-lated b-day shot of tequila, GSPhan a bomb. i kept asking people if they were G-Spon, obviously never asked her and then she sought me out after the show and said "you told me you were buying me a shot." at first i wanted to be like, "who da **** is this?" ha! great night though. we finished outside with a streetside \'drum\' circle with Cornbread on harmonica, me on vocals, and timmy-p as lead dancer. intense ****.
