The show was fine. A lot of people seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. I found it very repetitive and downright dull at points. I was very surprised to find myself thinking that if it had been only an hour and a half show it would have been better. Ray was the only one on stage besides Trey who I felt had anything to add beyond being a backup player. The backing singers were more annoying than helpful but with this kind of music they should just leave the stage after the choruses (which they did a couple of times). Trey acoustic is a treat though I thought his song selection was not as good last night as other nights this tour. When Page and Trey played by themselves they showed how much was lacking in the rest of the set collaboration wise. The last song was a total wreck until about 3/4 of the way through when the mix got under control. The sax player should have stayed in the dressing room.
Like I said though, a lot of people seemed to enjoy it but most of them were far from sober.
Oh, and there were lots of very attractive women. :D

That "shooting" was near Hammerstein on NYE before the Biscuits finished their load-in. It was well down the street though. He never got off a shot.

Well? The Trey PT board is all nutso abt the guests tonight and Trey AND his band being on fire. What was your take Obsession? It sounds to me like he has been getting better each show. Then again did anyone really think Trey would lay an egg in NYC?
-
yeah, what Cobb said..
:loads another shell:
See you guys later. Be sure to watch tonight\'s news.

Yeah, basically I take the train from 14 St after work.
I forget what bars are close to Roseland so I will probably eat/drink down here and head up for show time.

I\'ll be there sporting my Breakfast shirt and hoping Trey does a cover of Psygn.
Roseland can be tough if it is crowded and you are stuck on the floor. I hope you guys are right about the show being poorly sold.
