Are there any more of the posters for this show available?
-
I think his argumjent is that the williams pieces are copyrighted to williams, so did he give authorization for the performance and distribution of a recording? etc. technically there is a point, but the breakfast is no different than the pops performing a piece of selected music, so either way the argument is pretty unfounded.
-
now also available in.wma format on tela.sugarmegs.org 43.5mb ;)
-
awesome show, damn shame i missed it....i really like how the new tunes are shaping out, ep3 is siiiiiiiiiiiick.
-
^^That\'s shitty what\'s he gonna do call George Lucas or John Williams? It\'s not liek it\'s being sold, like any other cover it\'s only illegal if you are making $$ off of the recording but it is only being traded.
-
the response from theforce.net:
Just because you claim it is legal does not make it so. There are still
copyright issues with this music. Posting such links is not permitted. GK

^^yeah we didn\'t see Freakout\'03 until summer \'05 I think
-
Well I know there were camera\'s was there a board patch cause that would help the situation greatly
matt took a patch pre-fader (yea!) of the 4 sub groups. Andy from Groovin Lumin\' and myself, beside taking care of the projection screens and my building the video intros, had 8 cameras recording...
don\'t expect anything for a while. I still haven\'t even gotten to last year freakout video. :P
-
cool, this sounds like too good of a show to be not really listened to due to sound issues! :)
-
:hehehe: exellent
-
i pulled a matrix, but the board was clipping like crazy, per usual, so it\'s useless.. matt grabbed a group multitrack matrix though, which should be good..

i posted it on phook last night. i\'ll bump the thread with a better title.
i\'m listening to it now, and damn, do i wish they\'d\'ve played this show somewhere else!!! the music is good, but the sound quality eats the big one! (personally, i wouldn\'t send this out as a freebie/trade due to the quality). not that i think you tapers did a poor job, its entirely the room. cavernous, echo-y and muddled. vocals, guitar and keys get lost at various points, bass has *zero* definition and the drums are just a mess.... such a shame, too, cause from what i can tell of the music, this is a phenomenal performance...
-
maybe not I wanna try to go to Drums and guitar on fri but one or the other I\'ll PM you when we get closer so I guess like wed afternoon or so
-
wednesday?
-
Thanx brosef
-
i got you.. punk.. ;)
-
so who\'s gonna burn this one for me? I\'m such a ****
-
Thanks dave for posting this. I asked tim via email whether we were going to hear them bust out an imperial march - now I\'ll get the chance to hear it!! :)
-
Dave, thanks for the quick turnaround.
Let us know how theforce turns out.
"D-Day: War\'s over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.
Bluto: Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he\'s rolling.
Bluto: And it ain\'t over now. \'Cause when the goin\' gets tough...
[thinks hard]
Bluto: the tough get goin\'! Who\'s with me? Let\'s go!
[runs out, alone; then returns]
Bluto: What the **** happened to the Delta I used to know? Where\'s the spirit? Where\'s the guts, huh? "Ooh, we\'re afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I\'m not gonna take this. Wormer, he\'s a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer...
Otter: Dead! Bluto\'s right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody\'s part.
Bluto: We\'re just the guys to do it.
D-Day: Let\'s do it.
Bluto: LET\'S DO IT!"
;)

Intros (see 2 posts down) were projected onto two screens on stage before each episode.
The band played the 20th Century Fox Theme and the Star Wars Main Theme along with the
first two intros. The Episode III intro was just the scrolling text of the story lead-in,
which was shown with a delay loop at the end of Mooboo\'s, during the encore break.
* from the \'Star Wars\' movies; first time played.
** with bass solo; Jordan on lightsaber during bass solo;
^ Adrian played drums with 2 lightsabers at one point.
^^ jam only; under 1 minute; band then decided to do HLH before ending Mooboo\'s because they still had a lot of time.
# first time played.
