I didn\'t say anything about the reliability of the electric wiring, sheesh. I do do miss the free for all of that place, talk about anything goes....
-
Mark Powder Hollow Barn? Sure if you love power outages...
-
hey good for them....
hung out & played wiffel ball a few times w/ the guy`s
i think if the big shots in the jam band world gave all the -
deserving bands a chance like that this music scene will further expand-
-and eventualy overpower the crap that gets way too much air play. :ass:

Anyone who hasn\'t seen TLG live in a decent venue, you have nothing to base your opinion on.
What constitutes a decent venue?
What if I saw them in a shitty venue?
Just go see them damn it! I doubt they would go over well in a place like Webster, but then nobody does. A decent venue is good sound and being able to see, IMO. Top 2 shitty venues = 1. Webster Theatre 2. The Loft.
Some good venues I have experienced = Sullys, Mill Street, Iron Horse, Dibden Theatre, Chance Theatre, Porters, Bowery Ballroom, Stone Pony, Josh & Jess\'s, Powder Hollow Barn, The Red Door, etc.
Speaking of the Red Door, I know it\'s small, but how about it??

anyone going to RAQ at Toads next week?
-
i agree that they were ok at moe.down, but I have some really good shows thanks to leith. I\'ll def. check them out again.
-
i saw \'em at moe. down on the main stage. that was a good venue with great sound. i thought they were pretty weak, and that\'s my opinion. i also saw a dvd of them, which was also pretty weak. i really do not think they are as good as you lot do, but that\'s ok because i\'m speaking through my opinions and thoughts on the band. but then again i guess you can\'t have the breakfast opening for trey because all the good music would be over before the headliner even took stage.

If TLG were opening for Trey at Oakdale I would go. I\'m not going just to see Trey because I don\'t know if he is going to show up too **** up to even know what the hell he is playing and I\'m not paying top dollar for that weaksauce ****.
Duane- I have some good TLG for you, including a great DVD you can borrow.

TLG would def. be worth $15. If I was within 2 hours of where they were playing and it didn\'t interfere with seeing PB, I would be all over it. Very fun band...and awesome dudes to boot!!! Mr. Fartsalot...have you ever seen them??? How many times? And...where?
I\'m not sure how many times I\'ve seen them. Off the top of my head, I believe 5 times. But I also have at least 10-15 of their shows on disc. I\'m not saying that I would listen to them day in and day out like I do PB, but I would def. NOT throw farts in their direction!
And as far as their fortune of having been hooked up with an agency that has a crap load of artists covering a broad spectrum of genres (and a lot of big names at that)....my hat is off to them!!!
Stop all the hating and deal with it...PUNKS!!!
-
Well they usually cost $15 up there because of their popularity. I am going on Thurs. night for $10.
Just go is all I can tell you. Live is a whole \'nother thing as I\'m sure you know. It will be worth the xtra $5.
-
That\'s it, I feel like I need to go out and see TLG to make an informed and unbiased opinion. If they rock, I\'ll admit it. If I think they blow, I\'m joining the peanut gallery.
Leith, do they still play cheap shows in the Bay Area (I generally try not to see shows over $10 unless they\'re really worth it)?
-
Good for TLG. They like many musicians work hard at what they do for with hopes of having 1 opportunity to prove themselves worthy on a large scale. So Trey decides that he likes TLG and is given them this opportunity, so what. Life isn\'t fair, nobody ever said it was. This hatred towards other bands is becoming weaksauce. I love the Breakfast but I love music more. Who are we to say the one band is more deserving then another, when a majority of us (myself included) are bias towards our band.

thats just what happens this time of night, at your age, when your working for a living.....you\'ll get used to it.

Yeah that attitude really rocks y\'all esp. w/ this thread started by a bandmember or at least his .info handle.
These guys bust ass on tour to gain new fans and this is a just reward for them. This AND opening for the MULE. So it\'s weaksauce for a band to be packaged w/ other bands from the same agency? Seems like smart business sense. Why is this weaksauce exactly? No one has yet given any reason this is weaksauce. Because there is NO reason. You all are just crying! That is weaksauce. Keep it up people and it\'s a sure way to get props when The Breakfast get their lucky break. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i\'m with leith here. what is the problem. oh, i know. some other "less deserving" band got the spot that our favorite band should have if anyone knew anything at all about what they were doing. trey must not want tpalms on the same stage out of fear. yada yada yada........
btw leith....would you hook me up with some tlg? pick out one of your favs if you would be so kind.
Oh man I am so glad your post continued. I started my reply when I saw your post w/ only a weaksauce quote. Kinda threw me.lol Yeah that is my point why is it so bad? Yeah I am in the process of burning a bunch of TLG w/ the show coming up and their performances on Xingolati blowing people away.
Oh and I am still a BFAST fan all. I do have Bfast discs to pass out @ TLG also.
