Title: Sea Changes- Beck
Post by: jking on October 09, 2005, 10:44:13 am
it was recorded in dolby surround sound 5.0, so listen to it on a really good system, if you can (we threw it on the dvd player and listened to it that way). great but chill album, indeed!

An elegantly haunting album that is vastly underrated. If you\'re looking for a carbon copy of Mellow Gold or Odelay, you\'re in the wrong place. If you\'re looking for an artist unveiling some deep and dark **** at a crisis point in his life, listen up. While you\'re at it, check out Mutations, another Beck album that has gone largely ignored and is in a similar category as Sea Change, though a tad less somber.

sea changes and amnesiac are both on the \'do not listen to when tired driving home after a show\' list., but they are both stellar albums, much like everything else both artists have done.
