Leith, you have any good TLG shows that I can bug you to do a B&P for me? I caught part of their set at the down and they seemed really good. I\'d love to actaully sit down and give them a listen
Yeah the day set they played is not nearly as rockin\' as they can be. PM me an addy and they will be out next week. I am leaving for Baja Bash in a day so I have to do them when I get back.

I can\'t say enough about how much I enjoyed TLG. I also bought their DVD and it is TOP NOTCH!
Awesome! I am so glad a few of you have decided to check them out. They are not my 2nd favorite band right now for nothin\'!
That DVD is a great introduction to the band. The Sex in the 70\'s is so hot out the gate and then the Garden trilogy encore!! Man I\'m gonna have to throw that thing in.

Some thoughts on the Webster last night:
Went over to the Underground and saw Tea Leaf Green, first time seeing them. I LOVE THIS BAND!
Back to Underground. TLG kicked out another great set.
For me, TLG made the night.
Awesome. I am sooo glad you got to see TLG. They are waaay more fun than UM imo.
forgot to mention....TLG kicked ass! these guys are real good, the keyboardist is absolutely dirty! and i guess that mighta had something to do with me not enjoying um as much as i might have, if they weren\'t completely upstaged by the opening band that is.
This is what us Tea Leaf fans were hoping to hear from this tour and so far TLG has not dissapointed.

as will be Prov. i printed like 200 flyers i\'ll go there a couple minutes before the end of the show and catch the end outside and pass out the flyers

Why would anyone be surprised that the show was packed?? Considering how big UM is and that Conspirator(although a DB sideproject) is headlining the Bowery and TLA next month for the CD release. Alot of Biscuits fans LOVE this new project and Umph does not play CT that often...SO...I would say that the place was bound to be packed.

Some thoughts on the Webster last night:
Got there around 9:00 after busting through security which was as obnoxious as ever. Poked my head in the theatre, Conspirator was playing w Jake on stage, sound was muddy, place was packed.
Went over to the Underground and saw Tea Leaf Green, first time seeing them. I LOVE THIS BAND!
Back to the theatre Umphreys\' set was good, not great.
Back to Underground. TLG kicked out another great set.
Back to theatre, UM second set=boring, IMO. These guys mailed it in. I have liked their shows in the past and I\'m sure being in the Webster didn\'t help, but it all seemed very mechanical and uninspired to me.
For me, TLG made the night.

i went to the show in northampton on tuesday and all i\'ll say is save your money and catch one of the upcoming bfast shows...i actually like umph studio records a lot, but the show was not mind blowing in any shape or form...def some good music don\'t get me wrong, but not 20 bucks worth of it...would be better spent on an umphrey\'s cd.

I asked to take pictures at this show and I got
[uuugggghhhh...... thanks for the interest but we think were too big to let any old person with a camera come in and take shots. FU]
so the Umph can lick em from the backside. did anyone sense a little animosity......naaa. I got the same thing from North Mississippi Allstars one time too I told them to go F themselves. I guess I\'m working my way to be blacklisted from taking pics at shows. so with that being said I\'ll be right outside Lupos tonight handing out Breakfast paraphernalia. TB fo\' life
dumbasses don\'t know what they\'re missing.

That actually does not sound like a half bad idea. Hand out stuff and maybe score a $5 extra.

from unclejohn, about last nights webster show...
the place was PACKED... which surprised me
Don\'t be surprised. I went to the show in Boston on Wednesday. 400 heads easy, probably 500. On a Wednesday. Umph is taking over. Oh yeah, the show was really good too. $20 is kind of a lot, the Boston show was 14 in advance, 18 at door. But seriously, if you\'re any sort of jamband head, you\'ve got to see these guys. They\'re definitely the fastest growing jamband for a reason.
Yeah the reason is THEY TOUR NON STOP. Coast to Coast!
oh and they\'re awright at what they do.

If there is any way to get a ticket for under $20 GO! If not DON"T!
-
If I can peel my face off the floor of the Wheelhouse, then I may head on down. After seeing last night\'s show, anything else would be a cool down compared to that.

I\'m wondering if the $20 also gets me into dance club night after the show so I can get my grind on.
-
$20? oof..
though if i was within a decent radius, i\'d probably check it out.
-
@ Lupo\'s. Anyone actually going? It\'d be nice to check this out seeing as I\'ve yet to see or listen to an Umphrey\'s show. But, well, $20 is way too steep for a band I probably won\'t enjoy anyway.
