That pedal is going to be the real death of us all...so saweet!
Truer words have never been spoken....
God save us all...

That was indeed a triumphant return of the Wich. I hadn\'t been handing any in lately, I just wasn\'t feeling it anymore...began to force \'em. Yesterday at work however I had a feeling that it was time to bust one out again. It\'s nice to hear the intro and outro again...my highlight was getting the long awaited LAST CALL...ahhh 232 was the greatest. That pedal is going to be the real death of us all...so saweet!

The highlight of this show for me was Aja, played to perfection. Love the Sgt. Pepper\'s bring-backs. The rock star jumps were great fun. Nice to see Tim?s father and new forum member, Paulie P, in the house. The Wegwich was in fact awesome, but not nearly as awe-inspiring as the 40-0 shellacking I gave Walsh in Super Tecmo Bowl at late-night. Steve, let?s do our best for next week.

Two Wolfy\'s Angels = A force not to be **** with
All Three Wolfy\'s Angels = Unstoppable
you better believe it...one of these days it\'s goign to happen, just you wait..maybe over thanksgiving week?
I just hope, for you ladies, that Walsh doesn\'t show up because all other requests are superceeded by the giant wook\'s....
i will not let that happen.

tpalms = ser lame excuse maker.
name calling is not gonna get you that inner glimpse guy.....
you calling him a 4 eyed geek seems to get you what you want most the time........... GUY
a 2 eyed dorkulus is most definitely allowed to call a 4 eyed geek a geek....
The secret to getting songs played is timing......you have to feel where its gonna fit and make it happen... patience and timing is the key young Bezerker...
-
I knew he wouldn\'t play mine and Pitchy\'s FACEOWNAGE wich...especailly after you (Mandler) had to go tell him that we threw a couple of tunes from Wah/Walsh\'s wich in ours just to spite the wook
oohhh testy. I merely made him aware of the minor competition between the two of you. But come on you knew the second you put sharpie to paper there was no way he was gonna play that ridiculous which

Obviously it didnt matter to him and he kept on tellin it....so I told the story to him as he was telling it to me....to the finish...classic moment in latenight history....
thats what the wook does.

You should definatly try your hardest to make it to porters. It would be great if you could make it to the last one. Your always so upset to miss it. We better get a breaking the girl. ; )
we\'ll work some magic girl! i promise you\'ll hear your song! :D
-
Alli, When he busted into Breaking The Girl, I could only think of you and how upset you would be when you read it on the setlist. I jammed it out for ya though.....
Im glad you enjoyed it Stevie. You should definatly try your hardest to make it to porters. It would be great if you could make it to the last one. Your always so upset to miss it. We better get a breaking the girl. ; )

Mandler....Tim flubbed the beginning of the second or third verse (ser Jer style). Regarding the "stomp/clap" part, Tim said we had to do it without actually saying, "stomp clap stomp clap clap"...and my cordination is not really good enough to do it without saying it outloud......
 Yeah especially by that point in the night. I can see Stevie now talking to himself like a white man trying to dance 1,2,3,4 1,2,3,4...."Stomp, Clap ok, ok Stomp, Clap, Clap yeah yeah...."
I am going to try to get Sunday off to make it to Porters, but I highly doubt that will happen.....
I\'m hoping I can make it but I\'m a poor poor bastard

My personal return to the black thurs winds down to an end, I\'m sure (I hope) alot of heads are @ guitar & drums tonight alas I cannot. I wish I lived in New Haven so I could make more of these side project shows.
Last night was another awesome night @ Richters. The Chase thread for this show saw pretty empty, but people (including myself) came out of the woodwork. Good to see everyone. Glad I happened to happen.
I agree w/ Stevie 100%. You could feel the page turn. I kept saying to people lastnight "just wait a week till he really has felt that pedal out." But noooooooooo, not TPalms. He mastered the thing before he took it out of the box. Yes Stevie "Keller who?" 1st set highlight: Ser pedal jam in Mikes Song, I always love the Joe\'s Garage, Gencs how did this get **** up? Tim flubbed it? 2nd set highlight:personally I was all about the "She\'s Leaving Home" it had a great feel to it.w/ the melodious Seanie Miller.
The gloves are now off. Now, there is no going outside in the middle of a set for you may miss the most amazing jam of the night.
Tell me about it I walked in on the end of Mike\'s Song, and kicked myself and my silly nicotine habit.
Lion\'s Den here we come!!

Just as the pages of the History Of The Breakfast are turning, it is safe to say that the pages of Timmy Tour are turning as well. Timmy broke out a Boomerang phase sampling pedal for the first time last night. The gloves are now off. Now, there is no going outside in the middle of a set for you may miss the most amazing jam of the night.
The first thing I thought of when I saw Timmy carrying the pedal into Richters (still in the original box it was purchased in from the day before), was, "man oh man wait till he gets a few shows under his belt using the sampler pedal, wait till he finds his TPalms comfort factor".
Though he seemed a little cautious with it and its usage was pretty sparce considering, when he did use the pedal during the show it was sheer magic and some of the best improv jamming in the almost 2 year history of Timmy Tour.
The opening jam of the first set was a mild jam that just touched on the fact of what the pedal would do as Timmy laid down a little bassline and doodled softly over it. The next time it appeared was at the end of Big Empty where you could see a bit of hesitation in Timmy as he went to the pedal. The 3rd time the pedal was used was during the Mike\'s Song jam. If Fitzy\'s recording took, I am sure you will be able to hear me yell, "Use That **** Pedal" right before he started setting up a series of loops and then jamming over it. You could see that he was already getting a sense of comfort in going to it. It may be a bit early to say this but I was howling it last night, "Keller Who?!".
Kodachrome also provides some nice room for some ser pedal jamming as Timmy was officially in the groove with his new toy. What came next was, to borrow a phrase from Spacey, "where you could actually feel the page turn".
It was madness in Richters after an old school 232 style Wah/Walsh Wegwich with intro and outro, and then a rowdy happy birthday to Sean Miller. After that people were shouting at eachother with drunken joy a la a tall wook we all know and love. However, I was standing on the steps just watching Tim. He was quiet and concentrating and staring down at his pedal. I could tell he was about to go into a "Richters Jam". As he started laying down the first loop, I knew we were in for a treat. I felt the need to start "shhhing" the entire back room of Richers, because it is not uncommon for Tim to stop playing any original "Richters Jam" if he feels that nobody is listening. I did not want that to happen, and as people started realizing what was going on there was an awed hush that fell over Richters, a first as well. The improv jam was jaw droppingly transcendant and confirmed that Timmy Tour has been taken to a new level. What followed next was an intro jam to Porch. Tim was using the pedal, but instead of looping tracks he was just using it to distort the **** out of hs guitar and it turned into a head banging sick ass intro that just had me thinking "please play Are You Experienced".
Ugh what a night at Richters. From the Ser Richters Loop Jam #1 through to LA Woman was some of the most energized playing and listening and dancing that Richters has ever seen on a Wednesday night. The She\'s Leaving Home Solo Timmy debut was beautiful with Sean Miller nailing the backing vocals. The Dancing Days was most definitely a Timmy Tour bustout that harkened back to the days of the Smokin Boomers at Eli\'s. The Last Call Ditty showed off Tim\'s oft not seen most ser goofiness. And the LA Woman was the cherry on top of the Rock And Roll Sundae complete with Timmy headbanging and rocking out while Sean whirled the microphone around by its cord as if he was Roger Daltry. The whole night culminated with a textbook dual rock star jump.
So come one come all for Timmy Tour continues......and its only just begun.
