Infestation in moderation is my way.

Leith glad you enjoyed, wish i could have gotten the set he did later in the night/morning with Prometheus.  Check out his collectives called Shpongle, it is downtempo/dub/ambient trance...awesome stuff.
Yeah dub/ambient is what I really like. Thanx for the tip.

Hey WALSH!! Those discs contain some SER ****!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG!! I have a total new respect for this stuff. It reminds me of back in the day when I first started going to raves in warehouses out in Riverside County and Ambient music was just busting grooves left and right. Thank you so so much for the kickdown. I am burning it for a few friends that NEED to hear it.

Listened to a Disco Biscuits studio album for the first time ever last weekend.....
It was **** sick...Senior Boombox (i think that was the name)... Triumph is a ser **** song....Ended up listening to the album like 5 times in a row....

senor boomobox is a sweet album.. love the tunnel.  triumph studio does little justice to that song live.. they opened with triumph at my first bisco show and it absolutely floored, or i guess peeled my dome for lift-off, and i was hooked.

still my favorite studio album of theirs is no doubt They Missed The Perfume, outstanding. one of those discs that feels like one song, perfect segues and awesome writing.

DB stuido albums are nice because you can hear vocals clearly. One of the downsides to the DB live shows is the vocals tend to be to little. That is actually true even at shows, but has improved lately.

they dont wear ear-pieces on stage. that **** definitely hurts their live vocals a lot.

three tunes i dont think were mentioned that are sick-- Mulberry\'s Dream, Haleakala Crater, Spaga (<-- which TB should definitely cover).

my buddy just got back from Camp and said it was the perfect setting for a festival. he too, Walsh, is in total euphoria from the weekend. seems like hes got some new life in him which is good cuz hes an uptight little **** most of the time. he also told me i had to check out John Brown\'s Body (being that im a reggae fiend) so i bought their cd -- Pressure Points -- today and it is **** great. havent heard good roots reggae like this in awhile, theyre coming to town in a couple weeks and im psyched. cant believe theyre white!?!

the biscuits are sick. To me it seems like they try to make each one of their songs as epic as possible. Anyone interested should check out I-man, Crickets, Story of the World, Triumph, helicopters, or Jamelia. Good songs. The biscuits can really jam.

this is how i see things:
sober = disco biscuits suck.
stoned (in any capacity) = disco biscuits rule.

bfast, on the other hand, owns me either way. this, i feel, is rare in the jam scene today. not enough bands have the balls/intensity to rock out as hard as the bfast does.

voices insane, basis for a day, aceetoobee, hot air baloon, the very moon, save the  robotz, mindless dribble, story of the world, jigsaw earth

those are some of my fav bisco tunes

what songs from DB are good? every time i hear them i get bored and turn them off but if i can just find one song (or note even) that will catch my ear then i would give them the time of day. if not, bummer.

I\'d like to check out those sets too.  I\'ve heard some DB material that appeals to me.

Al, from what I  know of you, all music appeals to you.

Jocelyn - love the avitar.

I\'d say my music collection and preferences span many genres.

You may be interested to know that I packed some of your Zappa cds for listening at work today after they collected dust for a few months.

i wanted to go to camp bisco....i had a bunch of friends who went. But i just didnt have that kind of time or money. It\'s all to easy to spend $2000 at camp bisco. Then spend an entire week recovering. I, unfortunately, had to go to school.

SOUL!!!

This was BY FAR the best festival EVER!  The sketch factor(even to me!) was almost NON_EXISTENT!!!  The grounds were beautiful in the mountains of western NY with a PERFECT layout with nothing too far from the stage.  I won\'t even get into the lineup or performances bc no one will app. it on this board(trust me I\'ve tried...pm me if you want to really know).  Music until 6 am Sat morning and then until 7:30 Sunday.  I am in utter bliss still from my experience this weekend(from the Hotel Party on Thurs to the ride home thru PA on Sun afternoon)...

I hope that all of you guys going to moe.down have even half of the spiritually uplifting and beatifically fun experience as I.  I LOVE EVERYONE right now and will not let normal life get me down ever again.  WOW!

If anyone likes Psy-Trance or wants to give it a shot I will get you Simon Posford\'s "Hallucinogen" Late Night set from Sun Morn.  It will climb into your brain and attach you to the matrix while liquifying your soul, he is an evil-genius.
